Superglue. Pull the joint apart, apply a little dab on the top and bottom of the joint on the tank treads (female part of the joint). While wet, slide the male part back in and work it around for about 5 minutes. You'll feel it stiffen up as you move it around in it's natural movement. I did this to all four joints on that part.

That's about the same problem I have. I had the money a few months back but bought a G1 mirage instead. I have the money now but am buying the classics upgrade instead... s: Next time I have the money it'l be the Alternity Prime. Looks like I should call it quits right now.
