I've noticed that some people put their collection in different places.

But I've been wondering, how many of us will admit where we keep them.

I'll start.

Mine are all over my room. On top of my dresser, my boudior, my nightstand, my bookshelf, and my closet. But when I post pics, I'm going to put them all on the dining room table for easier pictures. But to make sure they don't collect dust, I play with them in intervals, just to keep them moving. It's all awsome. There are some that I haven't even taken out of their box for fear that my sister will get ahold of them.

mine are in a large cabinet in my living room, they used to be in my bedroom closet, but my fiancee said she wanted her shoe space back so we bought a couple of cabinets.

Lately I've been thinking about moving mine to a slightly safer location. I'm thinking of asking my parents to get me a shelf exclusively for use for my collection. If they see it as a way to get me to clear up some space in my room, they might. And then I might put it in either the basement, or somewhere else.

Originally I had them wherever I had the room.... but then I got married, so I had to relegate the collection to the upstairs loft... still more than enough room, just not enough shelving. Still, I liked having Fort Max & Countdown taking up the dining room table making a larger Autobot City...

Mine's in my bedroom closet. With the right drawers, boxes and shelving, a few feet of closet space can hold over 600 of those suckers. Even Maximus fits. Course, no Cybertron City made out of the cityformers, but such is life.

Though my Armada Unicron and 20th Prime are duking it out on the top shelf of my office bookcase.

My minibots are on one shelf, currently numbering 69, all in vehicle mode.

My SCFs, KO Doubledealer and KO MP Convoy are on another shelf alongside a vase from 1968 emblazoned with a picture of Chairman Mao and Lin Biao (got that at the flea market in Quanzhou).

On the third TF shelf are all the other KOs I've got.

Thundercracker, MC Axis Arcee kit, all my minibot backing cards (I open all the minibots I get MOSC, even if rare - for how else can I take the thing apart and look at the stampings inside?) and the few other non-minibot items I haven't sold off, are in a box at my dad's back in Canada.

I've renovated my entire basement and turned it into a "Guys Room". I keep the theater system and guitars and stuff there also. My transformers collection is along a shelf built into the wall high up close to the roof. There's alot of space to be filling.

Mine abide in the entertainment room (TV room, whatevah). TV center with TF's all around.

My TF collection is everywhere in my room. My closet, on a shelf, on some tables, on my TV, and in my computer room.

All mines are either in their original boxes stored away in giant tubberware. I have a couple of energon and alternators out on my desk. I would like to keep them all out but I just hate when they get dusty. I would like to set up a display case for all of them but the dust and discoloring factors.

Anybody got any good suggestions to these problems?

Eventually I'll build climate-controlled display cases...which light affects plastic least? Incandescent, Fluorescent or Halogen?

I try to keep it all together on a couple of sets of shelves, but it's spilled over onto a chest of drawers and my Brave Max has to sit on another chest facing my bed. God knows where I'm gonna put the ones I get for xmas! I'm also moving soon and am not lookin forward to transporting them all.

Have them blow Betty Boop to Cybertron and back. TFs outrule BB anyday, and in any form at that. BB is just a freaking cartoon slut as far as I see her. She's drawn in that manner anyhow. So like I said, have them draw out their guns, and let her have it. Spare the missus though.

15 by 15 storage then bought a new house so they are in the garage right now. Hopefully into one of the bedrooms after christmas.

Mine are in a closet but i will use a full room for them when i'm finished moving.

Here's the run down.. when my TF empire was in its prime before I left for school.. I had my closet doors removed.. my built in bookshelf was taken over by Beast Wars.. then Armada came out, and they took over a good poriton of freespace on my computer desk. G1 Reissues as well.. then I moved.. all of them got boxed away.. currently, I've got my recent additions hiding out on the top of my closet shelf in my new apartment.. nothin big.. can't wait to get my stuff altogether again so I can finally post some halfway decent pics of my stuff in all of it's splender..

Rubbermaid tub, like they have been for the past 15 years. Boxes for others, since I ran out of tub space awhile back. I keep all I can displayed, but college students don't come by permanent displays for everything that easily.

Unfortunately, I don't have the shelf space to display all of my 320 TF's. (Unfortunately, cos I think I have be a lot richer if I was to buy a house that's large enough )


Some TF's (about 20 G-1) are stored in a box at the attic of my mother's house. They will in time be transported to my own place.

In my own house I have almost all of my G-1 likewise in a box on my attic. Also in a box on my attic are those TF's I bought for repaint/kitbash purpose -- until the time is there.

New TF's get a short display time (a few days) in my living room, before moving on. Other TF's, like the Alternators/Binaltech & MP Prime/Convoy, along with other 'special' TF's (pre-TF, Unicron, a bunch of Primal's, RiD Scourge) are displayed proudly on my bookshelves -- Brave Max doesn't fit, so he's moving around depending on the need for space. They are my "best-of".

Since I live alone in a three-room house (four, counting the attic, which is actually a room), I've designated one room my "hobby/work-room" (initially work, now hobby). Here I display most of my TF. Proudly displayed are my BW line (BW, a single BWneo and the BM Dinobots) and the TF's that I've gathered in my own line (Renewed War). In total over 70 TF.

Lack of shelf space has currently lead some TF's to be temporarily redirected to my bedroom, where they will remain for now.

Basically, every room has TF's in them.

(As soon as I have digital camera -- I've been considering buying one for the last 10 months -- I'll get some pics and post them: could very well be another ten months )

mine are on shelfs at the moment cept for my transformables (not actual tfs) and bt tracks with stand with infront of my tv which also has a pic of my friends which they got me for my bday as well as the transformables but i brought BT tracks

As my collection is not very large at this time they are all on my dresserin a small 1 shelf cabinet that a school was going to discard so my mom brought it home and gave to me. Right now I have MP Optimus Prime, Smokescreen, Sideswipe, Silverstreak, Hound, Tracks, Deadend, andJazz(Miester) all Alternators of course. Then there`s G1 Rodimus, mini Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Scurge, and X-Brawn. My KO Devastator is in a box with my Power master Optimus Prime from G1 original version not TrU rerelease. Then there`s my Alternators Kitbashes of Bumble bee, Prowl, Warpath, and Rodimus Prime which I have displayed with the rest of my Alternators.

I keep mine in tupperware totes at the moment. I don't really have enough space to display them. I think I might just put the Cars up on the shelf but I am not sure.

Mine are kept in tubs. The tubs are inside a closet. But, Im about to move them to storage. I dont have anymore room.

My entire MISB/MOSC Armada collection is boxed away in my attic. My loose figs on the other hand, G1, Armada doubles, Energon, Alts are currently occuping my shelves above my bed.

Most in boxes and a few on the bookshelves, too few to even photograph.

I think I'm going to have to move mine, witht the new Cybertron series coming out, I'm gonna run out of room pretty fast.

Well my collection is scattered over 3 provinces however the bulk of my collection is still at my parents house back in Calgary. I also have quite a number of them stored at my grandparents cottage in Ontario and I keep some TF's with me wile I am at university in Quebec. Its a long story why I have some stored at my grandparents cottage in Ontario, wile I'm not in school I stay with them at thier place in Toronto as I have a job there so again my collection is scattered all over, but for the most part there stored in rubbermade containers both at my parents place and my grandparents.

Well I keep my Robots in Disguise collection on a shelf above my bed. The rest is in boxes that are in my garage. I have about 9 boexes in the garage and its starting to give my parents headache but they have to stay there until I am able to buy a house then I will want to make a geek room. With all of my Transformers and my fiancee's Star Wars collection but I have wayy more stuff then she does.

Well, we just bought a house (yay!), and my collection of almost 350 figs will eventually be on shelves in the finished basement. I used to have them on 4 standing plastic shelves, but I'll probably go with wall-mounted adjustable steel shelves, so I can change the heights around whenever I want to, and so I can keep them well off the floor, as we have a little man coming in Sept. (No not Vern Troyer.)

My room IS my collection pretty much. In other words I just keep all of my collection displayed around my room.

update: bought a 3 bedroom house with the missus & i've got my own TF room now

I miss my TF room. Now I'm in the basement.

Basements aren't so bad.

Well the wife's mom wanted to move to CA so she said we could have the house. It just needs some work. It's a 3 bedroom & they are small. If I can get the basement finished I'll be cool. I have a air purifier & a dehumidifier down there so it doesn't smell or gets to dusty to fast.

i thought you'd been relegated to the basement !
