i neevr had any g1 toys ( cept for my dads old twintiwst) or watched the show and know nothign about it, but some of the toys seemed to look cool based on internet pics. i was thinking instead of paying homages, actually remake the exact mold but make them more articulated. just an idea...

You're not the first to have this idea, but it is a good nonetheless.

I care very little for the reissues. I think it would be far better if they redesigned them: same ("realistic") alt mode, same transformation, same robot mode, but highly poseable and no stickers but detailed paint jobs.

We can call it G3 also. Cause if G2 was only done a bit cooler, that line woulda rocked something fierce. A nice retool on the classics with an updated set of modes, weapons, etc would be killer. Especially if they had a medium where they were upgrades of the originals, even if its just bios and tech specs. I mean, who wouldn't like to see a Sideswipe in a Lamborghini Diablo, with articulation, for about 10 bucks, that is the real Sideswipe from before? Then we can use as the gimmicks the gimmicks the originals had - Sideswipe could get piledrivers on his hands. Ironhide's hand could be replaced with a cannon.
