yeah the store I saw Shockblast in had no Swindles at all so maybe they probably had Wj. My hunt is over for now though until Decepticharge is spotted.

Hello all.  I am about 30 days away from moving from Mass to the Frederick, MD area.  Man I can't wait to leave this liberal, super expensive, cold and snowy hell hole....but anyway.
Luckly I found Wheeljack here in Mass a few weeks ago.  Anyway I was wondering if you guys could post some names of local Toy/comic "hobby" shops in MD or northren VA, that sell older TF stuff.  I know they are usually way over priced but I still like to go and look.

Oh and do you guys ever have meet ups?

There's a place in Wheaton MD that I go to occasionally (Wheaton is just north of DC) called..... aw crap I can't remember the name right now. But he has a ton of vintage stuff - lots of G1 and some G2 etc. His prices are high but are negotiable. I also think there's a place out west more (Arundel Mills area?) that is a Jap import type place. I hear that's booty expensive though.

There actually is a place in Arundel Mills Mall that Imports a lot of Jap Transformer stuff but it's about double what you would pay on most Websites. If your looking for a comic shop in Fredrick you could hit Brainstorm comics as I go there some times and its a nice shop.

For those that live in northern MD, I was in the Christiana Deleware TRU today (I work in DE), and they had just stocked their ALTs. 

They had FOUR Shockblasts, FOUR Wheeljacks (I bought one), two Ravages, and two Windchargers.

This TRU is off of exit 4 on 95.  It's about 50 minutes from my house in White Marsh.

aight kiddies, for those still needing a unicron fix, KB in lakeforest mall has em for 29.99!! Mind you, my orange one was killed by my ex room mate...and I had wanted the E one...I got both but there are others left!

They had Scout, Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader classes. I bought one of each they had (only missing Thundercraker from the classes they had). When I left they still had one Megatron, Landmine, and dirt Boss. Pluse numerous Scouts. Also they were sold out of Voyager class figures so I went to the Toys R Us in Hagerstown and bought them (they have no Cybertron toys left). Also Atomic comics in Hagerstown has stocked Voyager, Scout and Deluxe classes. Happy hunting

I live in Fred. and work near Gaithersburg. Who knows, maybe I`ll see you around WM. Let the snaking begin!

Fred Target has all the TFU and Energon on clearance so the Cybertron line must be waiting to hit the shelves there too.  I hate paying top dollar at TRU 

Cybertron is in north Baltimore County. 

Kmart on Route 1 in Perry Hall is full of Cybertron - had everything but Prime and Megatron (about 6 Starscreams).

Rosedale TRU had all Cybertron but Prime.  3 Megs and 3 Starscreams.  Swerve was obviously here lately too, as evidenced by all of the Grimlocks.  Also had one Shockblast.

Yup. I'm one of the biggest hunters in MD and also post all my findings (as long as they haven't been posted before), and normally find (or at lest post) before any other TFans do. Also man there seems to be a lot of TFans in Fredrick seems we would bump into each other more often. Also good to see you made it to Fredrick in one pice Zuke hope you like it

  I too have good luck finding the ever elusive or newly released TFs before most others do.  I hope my luck carries over to MD.  I managed to find Alt Grimlock and Windcharger, Shockblast and Wheeljack about the same time they first got sighted. The only other TRU's within 45 minutes of you are the one in Hagerstown (witch is down the street from me and about 25-30 min) or the one in Laurel (about 45 mins). There are other TRU's in MD but not within 45 mins were I grew up (College Park MD) there were 3 within 30 mins (now there's only two due to ones of thems roof collapsing and closing the store down). Need any help finding places a could try to help  . As the the trade/sell/buy I'm not interested in getting rid of any of my TFormers but allways looking to complete my G1 collection.

I'm in the White Marsh area and I have a couple of 'secret' spots I don't mind sharing for those in my area. 

First is the Route 40 West TRU (not really close to White Marsh, but 30 minutes away).  It's an old dumpy TRU - not remolded like the current ones.  It's cool 'cause it's just like you remember from being a kid in the 80's.  It doesn't seem to get too much collector traffic.  It was one of the stores that basically blew out *all* of the reissues for < $8, and I don't mean just Grapple...  There is also a Walmart on the way there on Rt. 40 that is usually pretty stocked. 

My other fave spot is just over the line in Newark, DE.  There is a Walmart, Kmart, and TRU within a 7 mile radius.  At TRU, I end up competing with what seems to be one or two other guys for new Alts.  They seem to keep a really good stock.  I got Wheeljack and Shockblast there right away, and I've seen Swerve (don't want him, gone now).  The Walmart is stocked heavy with Cybertron, and yesterday had four Primes, which are the only one's I've seen.  Then the Kmart.  This place is pretty good for finding stuff that's be gone for a while.  I was stoked to find a Energon Shockblast there for $20 the other day...  I feel like I have Newark almost all to myself...

All in all White Marsh is a pretty good spot.  You can hit the Bel Air, Towson, 40 West, Glen Burnie, and 40 East TRU's in about 2 hours, and each has a Target and Walmart nearby...

Thanks you cjs229over at tfw2005.  I was at the Towson Target at 8:00am this morning and grabbed the only Alt Swerve that they had.

The funny thing is that their was to older guys standing in line and the one said he is on disability because he is unable to work. Well when the doors opened I took off speed walking to the transformers aisle. Well wouldn't know it, the guy who can't work is right on my tail.    Well I get to the transformer aisle and grab the alt swerve, but I don't see the other guy until I walk past the hotwheels aisle. There is him and his buddy looking at the hotwheels. Damn hotwheels scaplers. Made me work up a sweat for no reason.
