I am wicked jealous. I got several of the Gundam Wing kits, when Wing came out, but I have been watching Seed. I want to get some of the Seed kits, espicially the Buster, Blitz, and the two Astray models.

I love the Buster and the Astrray Red Frame, don't have the Blitz, the Astray Blue Frame is gonna be kick ass since its sword turns into a shiel and booster pack.

where is a good place to get them?

I usually get them off bigbadtoystore.com or robotoys.com or my local anime shop. I'd prefer bigbad though.

Does the red astrey not come with the jet pack?

Nope, only the Blue Astray comes with the Booster pack/gatling gun/ shield. This is my next purchase as soon as i have enough money to waste.

They have a huge selection of kits (gundam and othrwise) and materials (gundam markers & erasers as well as high quality tools and materials). They also allow you to back order and preorder stuff. Preorders often get a discount as well!
I have found them to be the cheapest place to buy Gundam kits from including their postage costs.

I live in England so it may be different for peeps in the USA, but I have found HLJs prices (esp for Gundam Wing kits) to be cheaper than buying within the UK!

From your pics, I got that Alex. It's my favorite UC era Feddie suit. I -want- the 78-4 and 5, Justice, Freedom and both Astrays, but I'm not into how pricey most models are. I'd rather buy more MSiA (its US equiv) or TFs.

Not pictured on your list I got is the Goon or Goom...the underwater MS from Gundam Seed on the ZAFT side. I don't -like- it but for 2 bucks I get any model. I also got my favorite Zeon UC era suit, the MS-07B3 Gouf Custom. With the big honking gatling gun shield. And a real nice heat blade.

Man I love those 2 mobile suits.

I believe the only 1/100 scale model that isn't a gundam would have to be the Tallgeese III, At first i was going for only gundam models, but i ended up gettin the Tallgeese III about two weeks ago. I do want Noris's Gouf, other than that there are really no other zeon mobile suits that look interesting. Char's Sazabi came to mind but it just looked so bulky that i don't think it could be that poseable. The Goufs and Zakus on Destiny seem to catch my eye, so those might end up someday on my shelves.

As for MSIA, i only have two or three, I got two Gundam FIX: Wing & FAZZ, I collected all the main G Gundam figures (battle scared as well), bought two each, which I somewhat regret.

i have all the 1/144 scale wing model kits, but i never really got the chance to get any of the 1/100 scale, i put together the 1/100 burning gundam when i was in japan, took me a while, i will probably pick the habit back up when i transfer again

I got two Gundam FIX myself. Or will when X-mas turns around. The Alex/RX-78-4 (hey, I just love my Alex), and the RX-78-6 Madrock/RX-78-5. Both are rather wicked looking, I love how you can change the suits into other things.

I myself got over 70 MSiA. Probably between 75-80 now, haven't checked in awhile. Some of the G Gundam stuff is pretty bad - I wouldn't touch the Battle Scarred myself (I like my toys 'clean') but a few are rather neat - Shining, Burning, Rising are all rather interesting stuff.

I want Seed stuff. So far, only got 3 Seeds (Buster, Aille Strike, Strike Active) and those darn Astrays keep being, well, astray from me. They beckon to me...

Well for Seed i would have to say, from what i have, Buster, Red Frame Astray, and Aile Strike. The Blue Frame Astray looks like a great kit.

Kit I would prefer if thats not Seed, would have to be Burning Gundam Hyper Mode or this piece....

and aslo, when you build your kits, do you use any paint for detailing?

that one is the MSA-0011-2 (Ext) Ex-S Gundam and when i build my model kits i use just a gundam pen for detailing, darkening the grooves on the kit, I'm not really good with color so what ever i color , i tend to mess up, if you notice my Nataku and my Wing Zero Custom.

but i have a question.. are there kits available for the mobile armors in gundam seed? particularly the mobius zero?

how are the aegis, blitz, and the ZZ. How much did u get the ZZ? cuz i know a place that is sellin it for 100, but it looks bulky that it might not be poseable so i am debating wether or not i should get it.

IT IS Unbelievable, there work. They reproduce a ton of rare resin gundam kits through remolds and they also offer finished kits too!

sweet Where'd u order it off of and for how much? U should get that black Gundam pen not marker. Well if you want a marker you mite as well get all the colors since most model kits have pieces that are painted one color when they need to be two or more colors. Great model kit to start off with, and this is your first model rite?

Master Grade Gundam Ver. Ka. painted up in custom (G3-esque) colors. Custom beam machine gun. Yeah. It's not a competition-level build, but I'm satisfied with it.

The black one looks like a new astray, black frame i guess. As for the one in the background, It's not Gundam, and from the looks of the cover I think it is off RuliluRa.

BTW, IMO models kits are like Lays potatoe chips, I bet you can't just have one (I think that was Lays motto).

The Astray is the Gold Frame Amatu (Gold Frame modified with parts from the Blitz Gundam).


I want to say I think the background 'bot is Gaigaigar, but don't take me on that one. I'm not as familiar with that series as I can Gundam, it's just the first thing that popped into my head.

yes

not all details are casted in plastic, and you'll always have to paint panel lines

and if you want to do a really great job, you paint all the plastic to have a better overall look

just got the 1/100 scale astray gold frame. its so freaking poseable came in a gold box cost me a total of £34 but for a gundam of that rareity in the uk its pritty cheap

i also have a fa-010-a FAZZ 1/100 its so complex sadly with all the armor bulking him up hes a brick.

its easy to have a gold frame: buy a red frame, buy gold paint, and the rest you know what to do

you know your right but the 1/100 scale has a strange mirror look to it. but you could pull off doing it to the 1/144 that has more of a matt look.

i want to get both types of blitz gundam next both 1/100 it fits with my theme of fire power with the odd sharp pointy guy. i have blitz in 1/144 and i gave him a new colour scheme of blue and white but i want to increse the size of my 1/100 scale collection

buy another extra blitz and red frame and make yourself an Amatu
