G1 'Cons...Shrapnel is hidden hidden...there's also a Cyclonus PVC, and RID Ruination is in there for good measure, along with the Constructicon and Stunticon KO's, but that Wildrider is vintage.

Wheeljack has more paint apps on him (darker shades of green, Powerlinx symbol is in a different spot) and the off green/tan parts are gray.

If you look closely at Wheeljack you can see the added green on the legs and on his chest, and the lack of these apps on Downshift.

I think you can still find the KO's on E(vil)bay. That's where I got mine. If I remeber correctly I got them in a package deal for $30 (before shipping) and when I divvied it up it was $6 per set. I gave the Combaticon set to a friend, as I already have the RID Ruination set. The quality is questionable and the sticker apps aren't great, but they're alright.

If I had more $$$, I would have gone for the real things.

For some reason I liked the chestplate with the red more than the original, and I also swapped the window connectors, it's just hard to tell from my pics. They came out a little blurry. Thank God for photoshop.

Yeah, for the time being I have dedicated one of the shelves to a rotational basis. The one that had the G2 and various other figures.

The collection just got a little bigger...yesterday I acquired:

For a long time I didn't find the RID car brothers that appealing, but yesterday at my local comic/collectible shop, I investigated these figures further, and realized how kick ass they were. So I bought them. The prices were good. The Side Burn figure was missing his missile and his chrome pistol, and Rattrap has a little paint flaking. Otherwise in great condition.

I'm glad you like the pics. I had used a cheap CVS camera as I have no digital camera and I had to tweak the photos in Photoshop. Also, I made sure I took each picture twice - once with the flash off and one with the flash on. I thought the flash would be too much, but those were the ones that ended up perfect, lighting wise.

My girlfriend and I went to IKEA in Chicago this past weekend and bought a bunch of new furniture and I bought a bunch of wall shelves and nice glass cabinet with a wood frame. We are in the stages of painting right now, and hopefully in the next couple of weeks here I'll have the shelves up, and hopefully I will be able to put all of my figures out in all of their glory.

Thanks. It takes a lot of time to achieve the perfect pose. The only thing that sucks about it is that sometimes when I want to pick one up and tinker around with it, I'm afraid to because I have convinced myself that that is the ultimate pose for that figure and I'll never get it back. 1

Also added Super Link SC-21 Inferno Volt to the collection today.

Is that G1 Hound a reissue? I'm not totally up to date on whether that's been released in North America.

I just wish my Shockwave was in better condition. Because his legs were so loose when I got him, the modification I had to make to them resulted in the loss of his ability to transform . He's like a giant Actionmaster now, but I've always loved his robot mode so I guess it's not so bad.
