the recent meeting in San Francisco for Bay Area fans in Japantown! If anyone took pics of the event please share them too. I wish I could've gone, but I was certainly there in spirit, wishing I was there enjoying the festivities with everyone. beerchug1.gif

Unfortunately there wasn't a huge turn out.

BUT it WAS alot of fun. thumbsup1.gif

Too bad you couldn't make it.

I think Wheel-Jack has a few pictures.

This is what I got...

Big Convoy
TM Rattrap
TM Walmart Rattrap
Superlink Wingsaber
BW (Bat) Optimus Primal
BW Polar Claw
BW Megatron
BW Grimlock
G1 Hotspot
G1 Dirge

I think I got a pretty good haul there. rodimusgrinstatic.gif

I can't wait to do it again.

Sounds awesome, man if I didn't have work I DEFINITELY would've been there! Was the cake good? optimuslaugh2.gif

Also did any of you stick around and go drinking? For those of you old enough that is. beerchug1.gif

Cake was great actually.

But no on the drinking though... Come 5:30ish everyone went their separate ways.

thanks again to wheeljack for the wingsaber!>!??!?! and meeting you guys behind the avatars was pretty cool! cant wait for the next event! hopefully i'll show up eariler cuz i know i missed out on what blindmouse picked up lol... BUT i was at the bar LIT (sixth and mission) that night and it was pretty cool hanging out in SF the whole day.... as for the event, considering it was the first one, it was simple yet enjoyable and i know if there's a second one there will be a bigger following(cuz of all the stories you must be hearing). its insteresting that we all come from different walks of life yet we all share two things in common, that were all a bunch of big kids, and that we show interest & luv 4 tfs.

I think with time and more word of mouth advertising, people will realize how cool these meetings are. It took time for AnimExpo to pick up on the West Coast and NOW they are the largest on the West and the East coast for the anime cons. Likewise there is also a new festival that occurs in Japantown annually and about three years ago, it was non-existent! Thus, the point is, be patient and with time and work from fans like ourselves more people will come and visit and bring goodies to share/trade. thumbsup1.gif
