I liked the idea of rating stores on their abilities and I figure we should sticky these maybe. Anyway, here goes.

Update:
Package received on September 10th, 2004. According to mailing label on package, was mailed on September 7th, 2004. I have since talked to Bill and he has refunded my shipping due to the inconvienence of this order.

I have revised my rating and may perhaps look to shop there again in the future. All turns out right in the end and I'm very forgiving. Sue me.

This is great guys!!! Please people, post more of these kinds of things up. However be aware that the shop owners may respond to your ratings. Which is only fair.

i pre-ordered the tfc Megaton re-issue from him back when it was due for release.

He never came through. Infact, he had the cheek to tell me that the toy was confiscated by customs in *my* country.

Toy guns may be illegal in the US but they aren't here.

i asked for proof of postage and he failed to supply it.


i wasn't the only guy this happened to either.

I ordered 2 Transformers PVCs and a TMNT figure from him over 2 months ago (i've lost track of it, its been so long). I gontacted him about 3 weeks ago, and Bill said he would contact the post office. He got back to me the next say, told me customs had it, and he would let me know when he found out more. i sent him another couple emails a week later, to which i got no response. Still No package.

I realize it could be the whole backlog in canadian customs, but i've gotten a buncha stuff since then, so i doubt it.
Anywho, thats my little story.

Odds are he's messing with you, I know Canadian customs are a pita, but it can't be taking that long.

Hes a liar because I got that figure from a friend and customs did nothing about it. He is not playing fair.

MISSING RM Convoy w/DVD, says itll ship later. Check the site, he's out of stock now, when I placed the order, there were atleast 4 in stock, thats why I ordered from them.

They enjoy playing Email and PM tag, but they dont bother reading your PM, while email it takes them a week or so for them to respond.

Unless you like to wait a month and a half for part of your order to come, stay the hell away.

I must agree with some of the comments with you guys. I just recently bought two Alternator back in Oct  5 2005 and today is Nov 9 2005 and its been a month and i have yet to recieve my toys.  I contacted Bill over email around Oct 16 and he told me that he misplaced one of the toys and that the order was already in "en route" according to him. He even gave me a Tracking Order so i can go to U.S. Postal Service to track the order.

Anyway i have been checking my order EVERYDAY , and every time i get the same message:

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on October 16, 2005 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item.

In other words Bills Toys and Games have yet to ship it. I have also tried to email them a couple of time afterwards but NO REPLY. Im about to finally give up. Im planning to personally call them up long distance to see whats up. If nothing happens then i guess i will just take it up with my credit card company to fix this mess.

I also rated them 0 out of 5, which they well deserved  thumbsdown.gif
AVOID if possible, the only reason i picked them was because they were the only store with ALt.  Silverstreak in stock. otherwise i would have chosen another seller

Has anyone else had any problems with this seller? And also does anyone recommend anything i should do to fix this mess?

IM him at BillsToys83 on AIM. Do not alert him to your problem right off the bat, get a conversation going first, then spring the trap. Several people had to do that in order to even get him to acknowledge they were alive.

So....good luck, don't bet your last dollar on it though.

Yes, I am still alive. I have been recovering from Strep Throat since mid/late October, and keeping weird hours and trying to do all I can while not drugged up. We really do try and do all we can for our customers, and I sorry if we dropped the ball with some of your orders. We do take criticism very seriously as we are in a service oriented business and when I make mistakes, I want to know about it so I can A) fix it for you and B) make sure it does not happen again

Trench & Lightbringer - You obviously have had an issue with us, and if it is something I have never addressed, if you would be so kind to contact me at bill@billstoysandgames.com , we will fix it to your satisfaction. If it has been resolved, I would still like to make it up to you somehow if you are willing, as we really do believe in doing all we can for our customers, which is why we are still in business and going strong.

***NEWSFLASH***

I've been contacted by Bill (Broncobilly83) and I must say that he has been extremely good. I had a problem with an order aaaaages ago and had written-off his store as a no-go area for me. He has maintained some excellent communication resolving the matter and has fully refunded my money for the item I didn't get. It seems to me that Bill was maybe having a bit of a dip in QC at the time of my order, and the fact that I have been fully refunded means I don't think it would be fair for me to rate his store on my one bad, but later rectified experience.

In a nutshell, I shall be definately having a look at http://www.billstoysandgames.com/ in the future, and I am more than happy to give a second chance. We're all human and we all make mistakes, I hope that everyone here can contact Bill and sort out their grievances with him. He was very helpful and I'm sure with a bit of communication we can all get or problems sorted.

I hope all goes well Bill. Like I said in my e-mail; competition is good as it keeps other sites on their toes. I look forwards to seeing another Transformers retailer up there with the other big-hitters!

Yes, do not shop there.  My experience was horrible.  My order did not come until 6 weeks after I paid for it.  Yes, he gave me a shipping number a week after I paid for the order, but the number could not be located on the online tracking.  He then had the balls to tell me that USPS must have misplaced it.  What he does is print out a shipping label with a legit USPS tracking number, but that number means nothing until he gives it to USPS.  All it does is let USPS know that there is a shipping number issued and doesn't mean anything until USPS gets it and scans it in for shipment.  His reason is "why would I pay for shipping label and not ship the product out?"  Well, because you don't have the product in stock!! hammerhead.gif

What he is doing is called "MAIL FRAUD".  After about 30 emails between us, I finally got my order, but that is after I told him I didn't want it anymore because I don't want to give him my business.  Good thing I bought thru Paypal and got my money back after I put a claim on his ass.

One thing I give him props for is his quick response to my emails.
Read previous posts and most of ya'll probably got shafted or will be shafted the same way.

The only reason I bought there was that they had advertised on TFW2005 board.

Like previous poster said "how the heck he stays in business?"
If I would have seen this post before I ordered...I wouldn't have gone thru this trouble.

Oh.....damn. It seems that pretty much everyone has had a bad experience with Bills Toys.

And as all the posters in this thread don't speak for EVERYONE that's done business with him, it is pretty evident from the fact that not one person had a completely satisfied experience.

I just wish I had seen this thread before ordering from him a week ago.....  icon_sad.gif

I had been thinking about ordering some Xevoz and Shockinis from them...but I figured I couldn't do a full order and went for one kit, that was about $6.99 or so...the shipping for it was $6.20. (then went on Ebay, found the same kit for about $3 with a $5 shipping charge...don't exactly like paying as much or more for shipping, but I decided to go ahead with it, since it'd only put it at $2 over when it was in the store-value.)

The worst thing about the shipping charge, I've looked up the location on Google Maps (at least the little weather buddy thing they have on site) to see how long it'd be from there to here, and it was only about 6 hours.

There's still a few Xevoz kits that he carries for vaugely reasonable prices, that I want and haven't had much luck finding elsewhere. Should I still chance it?


Although, while he hasn't had my business yet..and I can't really comment there;
I do have to give him a thumbs up on communication. I was trying to get information about something and while I sent the message a bit earlier in the evening, he was willing to spend about thirty to fourty-five minutes at about 1 in the morning, giving me information.

Also, when I do the Track & Confirm by email option, it says the Electronic Shipping Info was received 06/14/06 in El Dorado Hills, CA. I thought his place of business was in Louisiana?  cliffjumper.gif

Scamper, that means the USPS was notified by their own website that he created a FREE shipping label with FREE Delivery Confirmation tracking service. It won't receive any information about destination, or origin until after he actually physically sends it.

Considering his track record, there's no way he actually pays for shipping on the label (which you can also do through the site) because he'd lose his shirt on items he does NOT send.

The only reason TFW keeps his banners up is the income (banners in general can be lucrative for a website such as TFW, The ALLSpark, and even TFans) However I cannot say how much though, the boards could be getting the shaft on that end. (I doubt it though, why keep an ad up if you receive nothing, or next to it in return?)

There are plenty of stories telling how terrible he is, but they get quieted and deleted by TFW staff because we all know we can't tell the truth about a thief lining the pockets. (Gee, board politics being much like REAL politics, whodathunk it?)

Anywho...yeah, avoid Bill's, use PayPal and a Credit Card (to cover yourself x2) and get the money back while you can.

Eh. I wouldn't be too sure it was delivered to the wrong address. Perhaps you  were given the incorrect tracking number so he could throw you off. (Sinister? Perhaps, but plausible.)

According to your info under your Avatar, you're in Texas, and the shipment went to NY. How the hell can that be a mistake? If he tells you such, don't believe it.

Also, show PayPal this info and they should refund it. When the seller makes an error in shipping your item, they also default any rights they have, over to you.
