Idiotic idea... Of course, real people would realise that Skynet was already in power, and this was just enforcing it's rule
The thing is, I send alot of emails/texts etc a day, and they're designed to be read by only me and the person who sends it (normally). They might not include anything personal in them, or anything like that, but it's my conversation and it should be kept as such. They have no reason to spy on people who have done nothing wrong, or are not suspicious... Why should they be allowed to view anything I've ever sent over phone or the internet? I am no threat to security, and therefore why should any form of tab/tracking be kept on me?
And I haven't even started to comment on the government's ability to keep track of documents, and the security of them. I mean, I have stuff on my phone that isn't illegal, dangerous or anything, but want to keep it between me and the person who sent it... Why should anyone be allowed to view? And I say anyone, because I do not trust the government to keep it safe.
This is another of the many reasons why I do actually believe I should be given a chance to work myself up the political ladder. I know how things actually are, and I know there is no clear cut answer or solution. Of course, there are solutions, and they might require a compromise, but nowhere as much as this.
Few people actually see the world as it truly is. Of course the law has it's problems, and of course it needs changing to help improve the security of the nation. But it does not need to strip out liberties away, our very freedom to speak our mind without consequence. It can be changed, for the better, but it needs someone who truly understands what they are doing, someone that knows exactly what this country needs.
And I am that person. One individual can make a difference, for the better. But he needs to be given a chance to prove himself, to show what he is made of, what he can do. To show what his beliefs are, and how he can make this country a place where anyone can be proud to live in.
Sorry about the semi-speech, but I'm actually, realistically, to prove to myself that I could actually do this.
