The latest episode has aired, and another Decepticon in introduced into the ranks! Sari's birthday gift has a hidden secret, one that Megatron hopes to employ as a new body. Well that freaking figures! The guy who was uploading all the TF animated episodes to you tube who i was watching has had his account suspended! Goddamn youtube!

This episode was pretty good, but I would have rather had Soundwave as an existing character come to Earth rather than a new one made by Megatron. Still, they did a great job with the G1 Soundwave references, especially the bit at the end.

Really dug this episode! Lots o' G1 references...luvin' it! Soundwave ROCKS! Can't wait to see him come back (with Laserbeak of course). But dude...would someone please give Megatron a body, so we can see the BAD bot himself back in action! I think we know who the autobots are now, let's get to know some decepti-creeps already!

My second favorite of the aired episodes. (The pilot movie is still my favorite.) The show is at it's best when it's dealing directly with the Decepticons as the antagonists. I understand the motives to use human super villains, but from what I've seen, they're no good at it. This Soundwave intro was very, very welcome. Even if I couldn't understand from a story perspective why there was so much focus on Soundwave as a tape player. aside from the obvious homage, it doesn't hold up.

To get him to be a building threat, not an out and open threat that the Autobots would deal with quickly. The fact is the writers wanted Bulkhead to be ignored by the other 'Bots (and Sari), and that's what happened by having Soundwave as a building threat.

 

Now he's been revealed it could be fun when he reappears - lots of messing about with comlinks etc - maybe a bit like a decent Cybertron Soundwave?
