I got into collecting the Medabots 'build your own' model kits several months ago and they're really kick ass. Too bad only four kits were released in the US. I picked up those four (Metabee, Rokusho, Archbeetle and Sumilidon) as well a translucent Metabee all in Hasbro packaging.
Then I did some looking on the internet to find out if there are any more out there and what do you know, Takara released tons of these kits in Japan! There were three different kits released- the small kits, the dual model (the type released in the US), and another wave of 1/24 scale kits. These are very difficult to track down and are hardly ever on ebay. I managed to snag a few from some online stores, but those are all but gone now. I've been buying some off of YahooJapan lately, which is pretty much the only place to find them now.
Here's some pics of what I'm talking about:

I won this lot recently

Duuuude, the transforming ones are AWESOME. I saw some of them for like... 6 dollars here. That was on sale.... Damn, you're making me regret not having bought the Rokusho one.

Wait... The pink and blue ones are... From the 2nd or 3rd season. I remember thinking the blue one was sooo cool. But I never saw those here.

Those seem pretty neat.  I don't think i've seen them in stores though.  Are they available in US stores?
