He has been nice enough to share a list of the figure's identification code imprinted on the packages to help others find the ones them want. Hmm...Walgreens is the not the first place I would expect to see these guys to show up. Look at that, they didn't charge any more than TRU will on them. Nice. :)

I found them at Walgreens too! Had enough of the free kreon coupons from a couple weeks ago to get the whole set for free, just had to pay the sales tax on them, so I got them all for $3.30. Plus 3 more as stocking stuffers for my son! But I also spotted these at 2 Targets in my area selling for $2.99 each

Is there a case count yet of who comes in what quantity?

Not sure, but utilizing these codes, I was able to get all 6 of them and a few that my daughter wanted. I honestly don't think there is any off key number for any of the figures. For example, I pulled all the packs out of one box to see what codes were on there, and was able to get two Galvatrons out of one box.

Galvatron was from the preview wave and he was one of the two figures that were only available in a quantity of 4 versus 6 like the other four figures in his set. I have a case on preorder from BBTS and wanted to see if there was a set number per case.
