So is it just a re-release of the original toy? If so and there are no improvement to him....why would you spend $400 on him? I know he's cool since he's the larges TF toy made...but that's a lot of money for a figure that isn't even an improvement over the original one. Lord_Onslaught....you have a large budget for figures....wow...

I've been able to keep a big budget for a while and have already set my budget for next year. So I know how much I will be able to spend, AND $400 beats the $900 Fortress Maximus has been selling for, so I can allocate the $500 I will save towards other figures.

IMO there is no need to improve on the original, unless its to articulate him

I dont know about yous guys, but this news made my day yesterday! I cant remember preordering anything so fast. Considering factors like the toys condition, completeness, and then cost (when looking for a vintage) I didnt think I could ever get FM. I am waiting for the $350/April release.

That's what I meant by improvement. Articulation is basically my issue with all the reissues. :tfevil

I feel you there, unfortunately not many of the original line are capable of being remolded for articulation only one I can think of is Rodimus Prime

Excited for all the people out there that never had a Ft. Max that will now have a much more affordable opportunity to enjoy him. One of the top 5 most fun G1 characters, as well as all of the accompanying size-related adjectives. But i'm even more excited by the newest MP releases. MP is like the 1989-90 Detroit Pistons.

They can do no wrong.
