I've been watching a few episodes of facts of life. It's the first season & I like it better than the other seasons.

I'm not a fan of the other seasons of facts of life because joe arrived & I thought she wasn't that attractive & too un-feminine.

I've seen a few episodes of mork & mindy. I've never seen a full episode before up until a few days ago. I'm gonna stop watching. the comedy is too insane & crazy for my taste. I don't mind watching a comedy sitcom but it has to be somewhat grown up,somewhat intelligent humor & decently written dialogue/plots/arcs. robin williams while a great actor, sometimes over does it with his comedy & it sometimes comes off as a comedy meant for toddlers.

In the mork & mindy show, mindy says she 23 years old in the show. I did a IMDB check & mindy was born in 1951 & the mork & mindy showed aired from 1978 thru 1982. so mindy was actually 27 year old when the showed first aired in 1978 not 23 years old. oddly enough mork/robin williams looked much older than mindy but he's the same exact 27 years old in the 1978 mork & mindy show.

And one needs look no further than the opening theme song to find the most logical approach to the HUB programming line up. Perhaps Hasbro is trying to tell us something....

Personally If I had to guess,I'd guess three scenarios below:

(1) Maybe it's a money issue. perhaps hasbro is cheap & they don't won't to shell out the big buck for the really decent live sitcom shows.

(2)Maybe Hasbro is trying to air only "G" Rated type live sitcom shows. perhaps shows like "friends","Seinfield",Everybody loves ramond",king of queens" might have to much adult humor & are rated PG-13.

(3)Maybe since the Hub network is still kinda new. veteran networks might have the broadcast right to air the really popular & decent sitcom shows.

Nonsense, The Hub is just doing what Nick at Nite and TV Land should be doing.
