We are live at the Transformers Prime panel at New York Comic Con 2011 where they revealed that Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle) could voice a Transformer in Season 2. The creators teased that anything can happen. Mr. Fillion is just one of the celebrity voice actors that they wanted to work with and said to expect more guest stars just like this. Also revealed at the panel is that Tony Todd will be voicing Dreadwing in Season 2 and he will have a compelling character arc. For all the other details of the panel, check out our liveblog. Dreadwing? Not Darkwing or Dreadwind, but Dreadwing? Kinda disappointing. Granted, they probably can't get the name Darkwing from Disney, but still, they could rename him "something-wing" and still have the combined form be Dreadwing.

The Hub will not rest until the entire cast of Firefly are regular characters in TF:Prime.

I'd hoped to see Darkwing and Dreadwind to return in some form, but we may have to settle for Dreadwing (and maybe 'Darkwind', which was meant to be Darkwing's original name anyway). Being a fan of the UK TF comics, they were to me, a bit like the Scourge and Cyclonus partnership.

What they could do is make Dreadwing some kind of Duocon. A 'Con that turns into two jets would be an interesting opponent.

He's a good actor, might be good.

Man, Firefly/Serenity sure is ironically keeping it's actors at work, while the series itself didn't work out.
