With the slew of figures coming out that have screen time in the upcoming movie, Hasbro has also seen fit to sneak in a few figures that might not see any screen time. In the past, these off-screen characters have often excelled. Will Skyhammer continue that trend? The answer may lie in this review!

Yep, this guy and Shockwave will be two of the first DOTM figures I score. It's good to see that he lived up to his appearance.

Whoa, I LOVE the way the rotors fold down over the chest. Thats an awesome new way to go about it. And I'm glad theres no rotor gimmick. Usually it means theres a large chunk of the alt mode thats detachable and makes the figure look bulky when attached. I'm liking Skyhammer. I'll probably be adding him to my list.

Picked up Skyhammer this morning at Target with Shockwave, Topspin, and Roadbuster and He is even cooler then the pictures. Skyhammer IS! the pinnacle of the MovieVerse figures easily. He is the figure I've been waiting for since the first movie!

Also got Sentinel Prime and Megatron last night at Walmart

A minor complaint, but... The pictures for this review are way too dark. I can't even see the details you pointed out. Had to look up pictures in google. But I could not find pictures of the back of either mode. Just thought I'd put it out there. Otherwise, good review.

I'll have a new set of pics up later this week. Found a replacement Skyhammer today that has ALL his rotors :yay

Sweet. I saw him in stores and he does look cool, though I hate the colors on the head. I passed him up because I'm already over my budget with Sentinel(leader), Shockwave, and Deluxe Starscream. Interestingly, Voyagers are down to 19.99 or less at Target, Walmart, and Tru. Perhaps this is because of the smaller size.
