Review: ROTF Nebular Starscream Figure

Today just seems to be the day of the store exclusives, doesn't it? Seems like all the big box retailers have had their share of ROTF repaints so far. Now K-Mart joins in the fun by offering an exclusive repaint of Voyager class Starscream. Check out this Nebular re-do by reading this review.

I got one a couple of weeks ago. I was fortunate to be able to use that coupon, which has now been stopped by K-Mart, which made Starscream $16.49. At that price I had to get Nebular Starscream. I always thought I would like this new Starscream, but I never bought the regular one due to the extremely dull color scheme. Nebular Starscream's deco is a huge improvement over the original ROTF Starscream. Once I got Nebular Starscream I found that I was right, and that I do really like the redesigned version of movie Starscream.

why didn't you extend the landing gear all the way?

Yes, the landing gear is in two pieces and needs to be folded all the way out for it to make the jet level.

I have the first version, and while it is a superior transformation to the 07 figure, it just doesn't stack up. The 07 version is just a war machine :mwahaha

I'm looking forward to Leader Starscream, at which point my 09 Voyager will probably be sold or traded.

why didn't you extend the landing gear all the way?

 

Wasn't sure if it did, the wheels kept popping off

I prefer the robot mode of the 2007 Starscream, but the alt. mode of the 2009 Starscream. The shoulders on this one are just too strange.
