Sold! :love That looks amazing even to a movie hater like me. So glad I held off on the two voyager offerings.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Maybe they will redo Jetfire after creating this!

If I see it, I think I will buy it. The Tattoos are starting to grow on me. He looks incredible. :yay

I'll stick to what I said in the earlier tread.

THe robot mode looks simply awesome. No other words for that one. In all aspects this robot mode is extremely awesome. The colors also work very nice together and help bring out the details. The proportions of the robot is also very good: the voyager has the legs too much apart.

But the jet mode... Well, he looks great from the top and unlike the voyager this one has thrusters and doesn't have hands sticking out there. But the fuselage is way too thick. At rough estimate I'd think it's about twice the thickness of an actual F22 raptor. THis can especially be seen from the back where there shouldn't be anything beneath the THrusters, but there is an entire block about the same size as the upper part. From the sides again way to thick and nog solid, but clearly robot parts.

Since they did manage to do this with the voyager, it shouldn't be an issue with the larger, more complex and more expensive leader.

This figure fills me unabashed schoolboy glee, a first for movie leader figures :D

Well, at least it fulfills one of my wishes, movie Starscream in gray instead of tan. The robot mode is great and I guess the jet mode is still better than Jetfire. Although, Leader Starscream's jet mode still looks like a more refined version of Universe Silverbolt's jet mode.

Those comparison pictures are nice. Does anyone else think that that movie 1 Megatron looks ashamed to be standing next to Starscream.

what a great looking figure.

i only have one complaint.

the colors just seem sort of blocky, there just doesn't seem like there is any sort of flow, kind of the same sort of problem with prime and jetfire, lots of mold detail, but no paint. looks like i'll have to do some painting. but hey, that's fun to me.

Speaking of painting, what if Takara releases a better looking Leader class Starscream, in the same way they are making Buster Optimus Prime?
