Long live Animated!!!

Damn Hasbro... So slow on MP...

HA Barricade... Where is HA Jazz?...

G1 Insecticons are cool... I rather see original G1 Minibots than Perceptor...

That Soundwave/Megatron two-pack seems interesting. Maybe it's a good thing that I skipped these moulds up until now.

I hope Breakdown isn't yet another redeco of Dead End. Sure, it's a good mould, but it could get old fast.

I hope we get more info on Skystalker soon. I always like a good jetbot. Hopefully Dirge will look decent, too. It's be nice to have at least one good jetbot from the movieverse.

Why the hell is Drift getting so much hype? He's just a guy that showed up in the comic book. Still, if the design's good I might pick up the toy, but it seems that they're putting way too much of a spotlight on this guy.

Unless (god forbid) Hasbro actually used more paint aps than takara for the first time ever, how exactly are they going to make Skywarp more cartoon accurate than Takara's was? You know they aren't going to remold ANYTHING. SS was the only time the paint on the mold deviated significantly from G1- and the only mold discrepancy is the tail stabilizers- but Hasbro would never put the energy into modifying something like that.

Or is the rep just confused and just assumes Skywarp has the same variances SS had (which by the way I loved)?

Alright, so here's MY must-have list:

Exclusives 2009

* TRU Exclusive - G1 Commemorative Insecticons

* Walmart Masterpiece Skywarp

This one's interesting...TRU Exclusive Battle Pack - Deluxe Soundwave/Voyager Megatron re-deco 2 pack...but gotta know more info before it goes on the list. If it's a G1 paint job for movie toys...pass. But if it's something G1 inspired/designed...hmmm.

Animated Products

* Voyager Blackout

* Voyager Thundercracker - OMG, we'll have a full OG-represent'n seeker set!

As for the 2010 Sneek Peek, I'm not interested in anything from the movie toyline. And ANOTHER Animated Lockdown...doubtful that I'll purchase, but we'll have to see.

As for the rest of this year, still got more movie figures to purchase, then these listed above...so by 2010, maybe my wallet will catch a break!

Yeah, don't see how they can significantly change MP Skywarp to look much closer to his G1 counterpart than it already does except maybe stripe the wings? Potentially two MP figures in the span of 6 months would be nothing but win though.

I missed the note about movie Dirge. Seems like Hasbro making a concentrated effort to give us a complete, same-scale seeker line in movie form. They've already released SS and Thundercracker from last movie. Skywarp and Ramjet are on the way. Dirge is announced today, so I can't imagine Thrust is very far behind. Wonder if Hasbro will trip and fall on their face by releasing Thrust as a legends figure or something just to piss the fandom off...

A lot of win in those announcements though.

Wait so... Hasbro is going to continue or at least finish the Animated toy line? That's cool! Can't wait to see the G1 Insecticons 3 pack here in the states. And Voyager Thundercracker?! Where do I get that? That is great all the original seekers in toy form again. I think I'm going to cry... :tfsad

So......we're getting our Animated toys? Awesome!

Although, Voyager Blackout, he'll be too small, voyager BB, won't he be far too big? Another lockdown? Uh....why? Oh well, Rodimus, Arcee, Soundblaster and Ironhide are all I could ask for. After them, I really don't care, although, a Wasp would be cool with his own head.
