I think I will stick with my FP altered Bruticus. This thing looks mega Duplo and needs massive color adjustment AND some paint apps. Seriously Hasbro, how do you drop a ball that hard and that continuously? Last bit, why does it look like Swindle in bot form is wearing a Mae west)(life preserver? Horrible.

So the price for Deluxe class goes up again AND the Bruticus with the good color scheme is SDCC exclusive?

FAIL.

Major Fail! Hasbro Toy Shop may carry it, but it's always a crap shoot getting the item before its sold out!

This Year,I'm interested in the SDCC 2012 FOC Bruticus gift set & that's it. I'm gonna try to order this from the Hasbro site on the SDCC exclusives ordering day. that is usaully the monday or tuesday after the SDCC convention ends. I don't want to have to go to ebay & pay a mark up price for FOC Gift set SDCC Bruticus.

I'm not looking forward to that monday or tuesday after the SDCC convention is over. because that Hasbro site on that SDCC exclusive ordering day always shuts down within a minute or two of selling the SDCC exclusives. the hasbro site freezes, chrashes & gets Temporily taken off-line.

It's just a extremly unpleasant experience trying to order from the hasbro site on SDCC exclusive ordering day. most Blame the star wars fans for over loading the site.

Personally,it wouldn't be as bad if everyone got a fair shot at ordering on the hasbro site on SDCC exclusive ordering day. for the site to go down one minute later & freeze up when ordering is just lame.

this freezing up & temporay shut down on the hasbro site on SDCC ordering day has been going on for 5+years now. to think hasbro would fix the site & give it more power to handle the sdcc over ordering day.

Sadly the phone number trick doesn't work ANYMORE either. as the hasbro site customer service makes you wait one hour+. then the time someone answers the phone. they say ,"sorry everything sold out" or sorry we can't access the site to take your ordering because the site isn't working/responding"

If Hasbro was smart they'd have 4 days for fans to order the SDCC exclusives. have one day for star wars SDCC exclusives. have the 2nd day for g.i joe & my little pony exclusives. have the 3rd day solely for TF exclusives. have the 4th day for whatever.

Actually if Hasbro was smart they would make more then they are going to, then offer them up on HTS the same day as they offer them up at SDCC.

I'm already planning ahead to SDCC and how much I'm going to need in reserve to buy them on eBay if I can not get them from HTS, like this past year I got lucky with HTS.

Epic...but this things got some proportion issues that many have pointed out as well. I don't know...thinking about passing on this one.

    • If you've not had your fill of Transformers collaborative news today, here is some more with a leaked product listing for the Project Knight: Transformers X Knight Rider crossover. We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story
    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Transformers news for the newest multipack and some reissues. We also talked collaboratives with TMNT, an Ectotron reissue and, maybe, even Star Wars? Plus, we address the MP Ginrai teaser image and answer who is Riggorus?
    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
