It's taken some time, but now that complete combiner sets are getting in the hands of more fans around the world, we finally have comparison images showing the relative size of the gestalts of Combiner Wars with their earlier and third party opposites. Thanks to "prjkt", we have pictures of Superion and Ultra Prime with FOC Bruticus and Maketoys' Giant, as well as a range of other size comparisons. It's pretty impressive, so click through and check it all out! Read the Full News Story Here

Given what I've been learning about the engineering, and the general consensus from people who have these toys in hand, it very much appears that our wait was worthwhile. We're being given an all-around strong product in a line full of Scramble City style combiners that have learned from and correct the issues present in Bruticus. You can look at it as holding out, or you can look at it as they took their time and made sure they were getting together the best product they could within their budget. I'm still waiting to get a team in hand, but everything I see makes me believe that the return of official combiners was worth the wait. :D
