The fact that both of the figures they are releasing come with the Cartoon and Toy faces is pretty sweet. I still like the other Alt mode of Huffer better, but these figures are really nice....like I say in almost all my posts about 3rd party figures.....cost will be the determining factor for myself if I buy these. I doubt Hasbro will give either of these figures this kind of love....ever.....oh and here is a link to their facebook postings where you can see what I am talking about....very nice...

X-Transbots Kranx have released some new prototype images of their Kranx figure that pays homage to the G1 Huffer character with a Masterpiece scale figure. Get a look at the prototype mold that is shaping up nicely as long as you can ignore the mass of kibble on his back. I like their take on Huffer and Pipes. I am really interested in them and I hope they are good quality figures. If not...they will go the way of Impossible Toys. My only real complaint with this figure is that they chose an old style Alt mode...I wish they would use the MBZ style Semi truck rather than this 1950's style diesel vehicle. I don't think mind the cab on the back as long as the legs are designed to counterbalance the weight so it doesn't fall over. I really like the addition of the Toy and Cartoon faces for the bot modes. Just tell me the price at this point. :tfevil

They might get my money for Pipes. I am more interested in the Cubex version for my MP collection but I have a childhood connection to Pipes and this is the only one announces so far.
