Million Publishing LTD Takara Generations 2012 pics of Artfire

My 2 cents: I noticed this comes with 2 different targetmasters instead of just one targetmaster. the first targetmaster appears to come from the cyclonus toy. the second targetmaster might come from either the PCC minicons targetmasters or from the TFP Microns targetmasters.

Most on-line TF fans were hoping the toy would a a combination of parts used from grappel & inferno. sadly the only thing borrowed from grappel was the ladder. most were hoping the grappel forearms & feet would be used for this artfire toy.

I'll admit the color scheme looks a lot better than I thought it would on this mold. I think takara applied special colors on this toy or maybe used a high gloss afterwards.

Sadly,i'm not into buying extremly highly priced glorified repaints like this. so this is a easy pass for me. I'm just happy & satified owning the regular mass released mold at retail store prices. I don't need exspensive repaints in my TF toy collection.

They're charging 6000JPY for 1 Artfire, or 11400JPY for 2. I've just ordered 1, so it's gonna cost me 6000JPY (or AU$71). Now, that is expensive for a Voyager (which typically retail for $50 here), but it's okay for a limited exclusive Voyager. BotCon Pyro cost me about $80 - so I don't think 6000JPY is an exorbitant price to pay for a limited exclusive deluxe. And if you order 2 you get a 600JPY (AU$7) discount. :P Also... I doubt I'd ever find a G1 Artfire for $71, so this'll be as close as I'll get to owning an Artfire. ;) It's the same reason that I paid $80 for BotCon Pyro -- never owned G1 Pyro... I've seen him sold at fairs/conventions for like nearly $200 - and even if I paid that price there's a fair chance the toy would break due to Gold Plastic Syndrome... so forget that. So at the RRP of 6000JPY I think it's acceptable.

I know you have to buy the Generations 2012 book (which costs approx $30)... I might sell the book after I get it though (I already have someone who's expressed interest in buying it off me). :)
