Totally! I really wanted that green one. Now we just get another dumb ol' prime. :argh

 

Yeah, it would've made a perfect Reprolabels Hoist. But on the bright side canceling that preorder allowed me to get a Classics Ultra Magnus upgrade, which I'm pretty sure will be better in the long run.

 

yep I can see that happening the magnus set is clearly going to be a collectors item

Have already pre-ordered both Meister and Bluestreak :)

I'm glad diaclone colored Bluestreak finally is within payable reach. Just wish Taktomy would've gone the extra mile: silver hood, clear roof with windows and the right colors in robot mode c.q. white instead of gray on the legs (and lower arms). Going to do that myself of course.

 

Arcee was initially Meh for me, but she starting to grow on me. Might very well buy Arcee as well and if I manage to get the paradon version, I will get that one for sure.

 

Convoy/Prime. Meh. Already have both the alt and the Kiss version and really don't need another. Besides I have my doubts about die-cast in this mold. Doubt if the knees and the spoiler will hold up over time. Besides, it's pretty hard to cut diecast to make the necessary changes so this mold can shine :P.

 

 

But I'm really hoping this means Taktomy will keep on releasing and give us secondary version of Rumble (in blue for Frenzy), a Scion in either red or black (Ironhide) and something for the Jaguar. But I'm really dying for a Hummer. They can call it Megatron for all I care (I'll make it into a Motormaster) and a Roadbuster repaint.

 

After that, I really don't see the need for further alts/BT's. Just those repaints and two versions of the Hummer.

so apparently im the only person who thinks arcee looks cool. shes got her racing helmet and chin protector on. or it could be her "hair" in a "bob" with "bangs" on her forehead. i look at the face within the head and i can see her in there.

 

you all dont want her? fine but im totally getting her. been wanting an arcee bt or alt and the car mode def suits her.

 

would make me laugh if she turned out like swerve - everyone complaining about too few changes and little similarity with the g1 character then later shooting up in price and ppl cursing that they didnt get her when they had the chance.

I'll get them all, because I love that line, but this time I'll stick with just getting one of each version..Takes up a ton of space in my displays and in my bank account to get 2 of everything.

 

Has there been any sort of report saying they will indeed start making new molds, or will it continue as just more repaints of previous molds?

No reports of new molds, and I doubt there will be unless Hasbro decides to restart the Alt line.

 

 

There is a "coming soon" photo from that show that shows what appears to be the Honda Integra mold repaint as the next release - and since they seem to be dropping them in waves of two, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a Toyota Bb co-released with the Integra as it never really got a second BT repaint (just the BTA version). Although, the lack of additional news on any further waves may be indicative of TakTom waiting to see how well these first repaints sell before committing to anything.
