wow I guess I'm the only one who found Titanium Magnus :tflaugh the only classics magnus anyone needs.

FIX'D

And I'd like to point out the fact that it's once again up to a third party to give the fans what they really want (Magnus armor, show-accurate head sculpts, Quintessons, energon cubes, Prime's trailer, Megatron's accessories, WST's, sticker sets, weapons for Alts, etc, etc)

Yeah but that's such a niche market... you can't seriously expect a large company like Hasbro to offer low-quantity items like that. You may as well ask McDonalds' to grill you up a filet.

um, did you forget about mc d diners? ofcourse, they all went belly up.

Given the garage kit nature of this, I would expect the price to be around $120, which is a little steep for me. I only predict this low because they said they were making more of this than the CJ kit (which was only a few nonmoving parts and was $60). I would pay $80 though without batting an eye. The Classics line is so small, that a little quality over quantity is worth the price to me. If it is over $80 there will be an internal struggle for me and I honestly can't predict the outcome at this point.

Yeah, Titanium Magnus is great, but tiny.

I mean, he's about the size of a small Deluxe... far shorter than Classics Prime. Hell, I think he's shorter than the POS Classics Deluxe Prime.

in all honesty classice deluxe prime, when painted right and alt mode aside, isn't bad at all and far superiour to robotmaster op.

but back to um, even at $120, if i have the money and can find it, i'll buy it. value wise, you know if you get tired of it, you end up getting more out of it then you spent for it.

I actually kind of dig Classics dx prime. He's a very pose-able figure. Yeah, his alt mode don't look so hot, and he's got super-ghey punching action, but he's a decent action figure.

If only they gave him collapsible legs, Deluxe Classics Prime would have been decent for his size class (super glue fixed the ghey punch problem, I don't see any need for that gimmick).

That said, I just don't see Optimus Prime as a Deluxe as making much sense (although the Deluxe bendy Prime from A/E/C was sweet). Voyager, IMO, is the smallest Prime is allowed to get (as far as the Scout-Dlx-Voyager-Ultra-Leader-Supreme class system goes).

Eh, I don't like Dlx Prime's robot mode, either... head's quie fugly. Plus, I'm forced to compare it to Voyager Classics Prime, which is prolly my favorite Optimus of all time.

Agree 100% with the Voager comparison. Voyager Prime rocks, he's the perfect blend of G1 goodness and updated aesthetics.

I don't mind the head DX Prime, I just see it as a different interpretation of the standard Optimus Prime head. I'd hate for every Optimus Prime figure ever released to have a head that looks just like the G1 figs.

Ditto on Classics Voyager Prime though. Prime figures don't get much more perfectt than that.
