Yeah... The Matrix? Really? Not... at all. Robot revolutions are pretty common in sci-fi. You want to use a movie example, I'd go with Terminator, but it's really such a generic idea that you can't call it a reference.

 

Hell, Transformers used it when the Transformers rebelled against the Quintessons.

I liked how they handled Soundwave's introduction.

 

It showed:

a) Megatron's intelligence and his recognition of the power of Sari's AllSpark key

b) that there's serious potential for Sari's overuse of the key to be a significant problem in the future.

 

Also, it just way cooler than "random space robot of the week invades and gets beaten up".

Couldn't believe how an episode could start out so god awful and end with so much awesome.

 

I don't think any episode had me laughing as much as this one.

 

I loved the zombie movie send up scenes that and Kremzeek.

 

It was also pretty funny when the automated train told everyone aboard to prepare to perish or something along those lines.

 

Loved Soundwave's voice. This by far has been the characters finest reboot. :thumb
