Transformers Collectors' Club Release Pricing For Solar Requiem Shattered Glass Soundwave Vs Blaster Set

I know it's an e-hobby set, but DAMN! WTF? Maybe the Japanese version will cost less?

The word is that the Japanese version, in yen, is less than $20 less than FunPub's price. Since that yen price is only for folks buying direct from e-Hobby, and e-Hobby doesn't ship outside of Japan, this means that those of us who would seek to get the set from a non-FunPub source would have to pay mark-up beyond that yen price.

It is doubtful the usual sites that provide us with e-Hobby toys will be able to undercut FunPub's price. Even allowing for shipping....

Depends on where you buy it from, it can still be cheaper then the tfcc.

I was going to buy it but the Sound blaster mold looks wrong being all white

You're welcome to try, but I'm actually betting against finding a place cheaper than TFCC on this one. For the reasons already stated.

There is no trying, G.B.

There are places where they are cheaper, Like when I got Punch Counterpunch for $40 and that was after the release and the skyrocket on eBay.

G.B I highly suggest, that you look around the net and you will find them cheaper. I know of 2 places that always sell E-Hobby and TFCC exclusives for way less than E-Hobby and TFCC.

Next time do not be so quick to jump the gun, or mock

But I will give you a hint, Guangzhou, China, and yes I I've made a few friends there over the years

eHobby price - 13,900JPY or about $178

TFCC price - $195

Only a $17 difference. The aftermarket markup from stores ordering from eHobby will be greater than for those ordering from TFCC since they'll have to ship in bulk from Japan plus make a profit. Unlike other TFCC exclusives you don't need a membership to get the lowest price, it's smart to just buy directly.

Well, if you have different experience, I'd definitely be curious about that, but I was under the impression that I couldn't order the set without logging in with my membership credentials.

Theoretically, if one isn't a member, it might still be cheaper to go elsewhere (my previous post notwithstanding, because I never include the membership price in these exclusives. Membership price is for membership).

The point I was making was that this situation is different from any previous club exclusive. Therefore, your previous experiences (such as with P/CP) don't really apply. See the post from Emerje at the end of the previous page.

(I'm also not interested in discussing illegal operations, if that's what you mean by referencing Guangzhou)

Doesn't matter if its legit or illegal, that has no factor, what I am saying is you can always get it cheaper, even through legit channels, especially if you order it straight from the factory, so it doesn't go to E-Hobby first then to you it goes straight to yo, so your little betting against it is mute regardless, cause like I said you can always get it cheaper, and that is true

But then G.B. it is not my fault that you apparently suffer from Tunnel vision, and can't see past official which to me official is a non issue
