If someone expected that 'report' to change things, they failed. Only one thing will spur change: profit loss. It's the world we live in.

That means we're stuck with Bayformers forever.

Better then that animated crap :yay

Although I guess we're now in a new era of narrow-mindedness regarding Transformers. It is now, and has been since the 2006, assumed that the general public would outright reject a G1 style Transformers movie. Bayformers is the norm and there won't be any deviation from it for some time to come.

Hey Mike there is nothing wrong with Bayformers and Generations for the next 5 years.

Re: Hasbro's response: I sincerely hope this supposed investigation leads to improvements. Because seriously, I want those damn Transformers Prime figures. They look amazing. I'm skeptical of course, but I'd like to hold out hope. Of course, I have a nasty suspicion that even if they *did* fix it they wouldn't say anything just to keep the story out of the news.

Yeah, in my mind if they keep pumping out Generations, I'll be happy no matter what other crap they're putting out. Or at least I would be in the world I lived in a week ago in which I had no ethical qualms with buying Hasbro toys. Sigh.

Make it right Hasbro. Please.

Mike spews so much Bayverse hate and then he's talking about narrow-minded TF fans. :roll

Face it we are all one degree separated from Terkkies and SW Buffs. And Taxi I wouldn't worry about it. business will continue as usual. and honestly I've seen worse treatment. They are actually better off then people in Iraq

Heh, I've been hearing the back handed comments so long... I don't know what this fandom would be without them.

Though it would certainly be nice...

Who said anything about fans? I'm talking about Hasbro and Paramount.

I would also like to see some solid evidence that people would have rejected anything other than Bayformers.

If you want to ignore members and their posts, that's fine. Don't justify it in the open please. It leads to more trolling.

Ok, sorry.

Or just do what others do and ignore the posts.

Anyway With this being business as usual as China is hardly alone Honduras is even worse. Walmart and some of its celeb lines got pounded a few years back for the same thing. So even if this was brought out in the open its nothing new and wont be the last. In the end it falls on the consumer on whether or not to continue buying the product. I'm still going to buy Transformers regardless. Since if Hasbro did actually care. They would bring the manufacturing to American shores and give Americans the jobs.

Is it safe to assume that at least some of the money hasbro (and in essence their clientele) and other US companies pay to these Chinese manufacturing factories is filtered into their communist government's military and weapons development program? I don't know, maybe I'm just being paranoid. Perhaps this line of thinking is too political for the topic at hand...
