Fanboys are always looking for homages and tributes to the Autobots and Decepticons they grew up with. In response, Hasbro gives us different attempts to do such. Sometimes, they hit a line drive. Other times, they fall off the mark. This review looks at Strafe, which borrows a mold from the previous movie line. Can a Bayverse figure really make a good G1 tribute? Jump to the review and find out!

I give him an 8 out of 10 only because they didn't put a new head on him. Though I love the Mindwipe mold , and Strafe is the 3rd in the uses of the mold. Mindwipe was first, then Dreadwing, and now Strafe.

Honestly if you want a G1 homage proper then hope a 3rd Party does it. But over all Strafe looks great.

You mean Skystalker? That would be a terrible mold to use as Scattershot.

But I do love that mold, I'd probably buy up any repaints they make of it.

Hey Blitz! Wasn't there suppose to be an Autobot insignia being formed by the entire top of the jet mode or something? (like by the deco I mean).

I had to look again. The wings sort of form the Autobot insignia if you look hard enough.
