After 5yrs and much venting by fans, the seeker collection can finally be had by all. With Thundercracker's release in the Generations lineup, all 6 of the G1 seekers have now been offered via retail (even if Skywarp was a Target exclusive). But how does it compare to the BotCon version from 4yrs ago? Read this review to find out!

Way to stay objective about this mold, Blitzwing. ;) No, seriously, what took 5 years should've been done in a couple, but even if it took 5, I'm glad to see Hasbro finally pull through on completing a set of seekers, and what I think have been the best iteration of them at that. Personally, I dig the mold...sure it's 'blocky', that's what gives it the first generation vibe, just with more posability now. And why pose him so stiff for the review? They're not that blocky. There's ample opportunity to exploit their full range, as interpreted at my abode. And I certainly hope there's more detail on that Botcon version, 'cause folks paid enough! But they're surely done now, so both those who are 'tired' and those who've long awaited can now...relax. :thumb

I had a chance to pick him up yesterday after work, but for $13.99? i'll just wait to make my run by Toys R Us saturday.

I was in the Manhattan TRU last week and saw TC in a bin stuffed with generations figs. They were 15.99 there. Times Square tourist mark up.

I am glad to finally have this guy just to have a complete set of seekers. And I really only mean Starscream TC and Skywarp - not that I dont like the coneheads but getting a complete set of those with other lines was like pulling teeth.

It really can be difficult to get a full set of seekers cant it? I like that I got all three with the robot master line, but I dont think Skywarp was ever released in the 3 inch titanium line. Just one more set of incomplete seekers.

Did they make a Sunstorm repaint of this mold? I actually found the Acid Storm i bought I totally forgot about him. I have a complete set of Seekers / Coneheads now. Can't wait to get the MP Coneheads once they are ALL available. I still need MP Thundercracker which I would be surprised if they don't release him from Hasbro in the US.

Keep in mind I had QC problems with the leg seams starting to split. The knees were excrutiatingly stiff as well. That is partially why I knocked the rating down.

It's also why Wheeljack will get a notch taken off his score, but you'll find out tonight about that

I have the leg splitting problem with Thrust, Thundercracker has been solid. I'm thinking with all the QC problems Hasbro has been having lately they are obviously letting things slide that shouldn't. I do hope they are Takara make Sunstorm and Icestorm to round out the Rainmakers. So you have all 3 sets of Decepticon Jets, The Seekers, Coneheads, and Rainmakers
