Shout Factory To Also Release Japanese Transformers Series?

I may get it only if there's subtitles, but I just don't see the need to get Head Masters, since I allready say it. :D and Masterforce so far doesn't look worth the money.

Putting it into context, maybe is is referencing Beast Machines, Beast Wars 2, and Beast Wars Neo. However, I would love to get Region 1 releases of the Takara Collection. I have the European release.

Beast Machines was a US ONLY series, and was the only "US ONLY" series ever. (Makes ya wonder what would happen if there where more. :wat )

BM did eventually get shown over there around 06.

A post on Twitter by Brian Ward seems to indicate they're going to release the Japanese Transformer series.

"Looking for bonus feature material re: TRANSFORMERS TAKARA COLLECTION. Commercials, etc. Got anything? #DoesntMeanImWorkingOnIt #YesItDoes"

No telling if it's just the G1 series, or Beast Wars spin-offs as well.

If ya'll have some good bonus feature material, send him a message @BWard028.

Yeah, we reported on it earlier this week (merged it into the previous thread). Brian Ward also posted a tweet giving something vague like this.

Very interesting, though, thanks for the information!

I'd get excited, but I highly doubt these will get dubbed anyway...

But hey if I'm wrong and Shout goes through the effort of getting them dubbed too, then hell yes I'm buying this!

I already have all the Headmasters episodes (English dubs) on DVD thanks to internet downloads. If they release the Headmasters series in digitally mastered (with a new/better dub) I might grab these, if not, then I'll stick with my DVD rips.

I actually sent them an email about a week ago inquiring about their intentions on releasing Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory as well as the 1986 movie after reflecting on the bootlegs I saw at Wizard World Chicago. I got a big negatory on all counts. Could've been a smokescreen though....

I'd bet it was either contracts went finished yet, so they couldn't say. OR the customer service person who answers those emails didn't have the info yet.
