I was surprised to see the second wave so early. I guess you could say this ended up being sort of an "obligatory" purchase just 'cause I was more or less excited to see more new stuff so soon after getting the new first waves of everything. Hafta agree that this 'bot is pretty mediocre overall. I'm sure they'll repaint and reuse all these molds, so at least I won't feel any compulsion to buy them again. His wave 2 Decepticon counterpart is better, but what really steamed me is that Mudslinger's rotating thigh articulation cracked on both legs!!! Quality control, Hasbro!!! Yikes...now I gotta wait for a new one before I can return this one! Anyone else have this problem? I also noticed Double Clutch has some funny business around his robot hips as well. Every time I transform him, I'm afraid he's also gonna break.

The recessed ball joint hips that Double Clutch has are annoying. Not only do they restrict articulation, they're sloppy. As for Mudslinger, he's on my schedule for review tonight and, believe me, you're not the only one with the thigh issue.

He totally reminds me of the GoBot Puzzler. I hope FansProject makes an Appendage set for this line! Given their track record we could get something AWESOME! :drool

Got mudslinger yesterday, Not a fan of the "commander" portion, but the drones look awesome with Smolder.

Picked up the rallybots today and will now refer to them only as power up armada sideswipe.

 

But really do like this set over Mudslinger and his drones. The main bot portion is really not that great, but looks loads better combined.

Looks kinda cool. I'd probably try rotating the legs to give him some knee caps and cover up the connections if possible. My kids should love him though.

I don't see the Charger looks Blitzwing. I kinda see a Chrysler 300 in the front and generic Mustang-looking thing in the back. Oh and I know the shoulders of his combined mode are crap, but has anyone lifted his arms straight out and thought he looked like someone who wanted a hug?

Again, same question, Do the drones stay on unlike the jeep on Bombshock. Or do they like to pop off? I know the arms of the commander like to pop off putting ON the drones but my question is about the drones alone. I want to find the best :con & :bot drones to use for all the 2 pack commander figures. IF i can find soem suitable drones then i like this line.
