So many homages of G1 figures in the ROTF lineup. So why not sneak in a character from Cybertron? The result is Scattorshot, who is the same only different. Check out the latest Scout class figure to be put in the limelight via this review

Scattershot was originally the leader of the G1 Technobots but yeah, this has more resemblance to the Cybertron version.

I wouldn't take even half a point away for the long arms personally. I think it gives him character.

I just got him and will be detailing his paint job tonight.

I would agree that the long arms give him character, but it seems like all of these Scout class toys have long arms. I'm getting tired of it. Other than that, I will buy Scattorshot. Just when I thought I was done after finding Brawn today I get reminded of Scattorshot.

Outside of Brakdown the scouts have had pretty normal arms.

Well maybe Dunn Runner too, but IMO he just has short legs.

Anyhow, I do look forward to getting this guy. I think he'll make a good partner for the afor mentioned Dune Runner.

I'd say Beachcomber too but I poped the guns off him and it honestly makes a world of difference.

I do agre that the guns make for good character. This is a real nice update of a design from yesteryear. The mine sweeper in the alt is a nice add on. Very Landmine :)

Thanks for the review Blitz!!!

See, I saw a whole different figure they could use this mold as an homage too, and went with it.

I got out the orange paint, did some minor paint apps on the head, arms, hands and legs...and ladies and gentlemen, I give you Revenge of the Fallen Sentinel Prime!

He fits perfectly in with Lockdown and my custom ROTF Bulkhead repaint. Something about his face just shouts "God, why must I work with these disease filled humans?!?". Plus, pretty up any way you want...he's a snow plow in my eyes.

Before even reading this post I thought the same thing! I suppose if a person really wanted to, they could turn an Ironhide into a Sentinel Prime quite easily! :schin

@Mr. Chaos: pics plz?

nice review. while i really want to like this figure, i cant bring myself to actually want to buy it. he looks nice and all, but those lower legs just look so ambiguous, like he stepped in sticky tar and walked around a junkyard for a while, just a jumble of random mechanical-looking garbage tacked on. i know i know, we ask for more detail, and when we get it, we complain. such is the life of a transformers fan, constantly contradicting themselves. maybe it looks better in person?

i do agree with the arms being a tad long. its not necessarily a bad thing, heck who is to say that transformers are to conform to human body proportions? that said, yeah his hands hang lower than his knees, and its only accentuated by the fact that hes got those big panels popeye-ing them up (kinda ape-ish looking, could be repainted as an homage to BW Optimus Minor?) and the long laser cannons.

anyway, im gonna wait til i see him in the store and depending on my bank account ill make my decision then.
