I was already starting to like the idea of the Powercores but now I'm liking them even more. Excited for a new Seaspray. Ironhide not so much. Bumblebee can friggin die.

The overall gesalt combiners sucked, but outside of the crane the robots where great.

It's sad when Energon comes up people right away think of Hot Shot, and the uncombined Optimus.

The forget all about the awesomeness of Bulkhead, Scorpinoc, the Terrorcons, Omnicons, Mirage, Snowcat, Cliffjumper, Megatron, Inferno, Shockblast, Landmine and on and on...

There really was no shortahe of awesome in that very show acurate line.

Energon had it's good and it's bad points, unfortunately yes, ppl normally remember the bad easier. I still wish I'd got Shockblast though. Never released over here (suprise su-F'ing prise)

Energon had some great figures!

Heck yes it did! If these combiners are similar to the Energon combiners, I'll be excited.

Energon. Toys that can combine with each other in so many different ways. To Powerlink with anyone and everyone. The endless number of combinations.

I certainly don't forget the great figures of Energon. Bulkhead, Skorpinok, Landmine, and Shockblast to name a few.

It also had some of the worst too though and the colored transparent weapons and useless parts were... well useless, and often hurt the overall look of the figures.

Some of my best customs were done using Energon and Cybertron figures though.

It's kinda sad that PCC is just a movie subline. I had been hoping for a full on return of the Armada/enegergon/cybertron, (well, energon and cybertron at least) aesthetic. Sadly, it looks like it will be just secondary characters that are at least vaguely in line with the movie look.

Looks like the only line this year that gets away from the movies is the WFC small line, and the figures I've seen for it, (OP and megatron but not bumblebee) are only okayish. Actually, megatron is a big vat of meh.

Perhaps if WFC truly is a grand storyline reboot that will continue in comics and cartoons in the future, and said comics and cartoons get them to earth eventually, then we might get some cool toys in 2011 and 2012. Oh wait, in 2011 we have to groan through the inevitable TF3 line. sigh.
