yeah i hear ya....it seems it'll be a long wait for everything that i like, which may or may not be released late 2010. So i get stuff just to fill the void when i can't get a good deal on a G1.

I stop trying going after every Prime now and days but i did pick up Blaster Prime and the black DVD edtion for they were hard to resist. Now its all about hunting them toys you dont see at the stores and contest give away toys.

I only collect alternators, binaltech, and masterpiece transformers. Others are really sub par as far as quality goes. Granted, these cost arm and a leg but if you are patient enough, you could find them for less than what you'd expect.

I picked G1. As of now I am looking for alot of Zone or Battlestars. Even though I loved Animated and the movies the figures just never did it for me. I tend to get the Fans Project stuff.

Yea, pretty much the same here.

 

I have a few of the movie line and I have most of the G1 that I want also.

 

So about the only ACTIVE collection series I have is MASTERPIECE. And with shelf room premium now - that's just fine with me.

 

I have a few G1 that I need to hunt down - but havn't gone about it yet. It's not like they are going anywhere.

G1 and ROTF, It's interesting to compare then and now, how Transformers have changed in 25 years. Optimus Prime, Bummblebee, Iornhide, and so on.

I been collecting legends ROTF, USA Masterpieces, Classics/Uni, and i have all but the Twins & Wreck Gar in :animated (just got Shockwave @ xmas finally), and a few here in there ROTF line, plus the comics. So i picked "all of the above" but i dont buy customs. I see no point in that for myself

 

I think i just want to sell off all my toys but A/E/C, Animated, and Classics/MP's though. Im still thinking about it.

 

Legends are my joy though. Just opened and put together Legends Devastator, and i have all but legends Jetfire/Sideways/Sideswipe/Arcee/Soudwave so far. Im pretty happy with them most but my REAL FAVORITES are Masterpieces!

I must be the only guy who buys whatever appeals to me. Cool alt. Cool robot, novel transformation. Clearances will certainly up my tolerance on marginal figures.

 

Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised. Leader Bulkhead, for example, and just about every movie figure I ended up liking.

 

Sometimes I'm disappointed ( Movie Bumblebees... ) but meh.

 

Don't really rabidly collect any line or any one "character" though like many I tend to buy most/all Primes, Screamers, and Megs. Also tend to pick up Prowls.

I have been really into classics/universe I like the updated design of G1 Transformers. Does anyone know when or If are they releasing the new Universe figures?
