When is the right to time for G1 reissues? They end up as TRU exclusives anyway, so why worry about the time to sell them?

I have a burning question...and I really don't mean to stir anything up here...but WHY do we ALWAYS submit "Burning Questions" to Hasbro that we KNOW they're going to dance around and ignore...giving us no real answers?

 

Although we kiiiinda knew this, they DID "confirm" the fact we WILL be getting a TRANSFORMERS show. Right? Thats better then nothing imo.

 

And i still like these answers Hasbro has the kindness to give us (i wonder if they will wait til christmas day to give us something really juicy. Hmmmm Doubt it :tfevil ) and continue to want the thread/forum to continue

Trust me, I'm as sick of the non-answers as everyone else. At least at Botcon we finally get some concrete info and get to see stuff to kind of make up for the rest of the year and vague 'maybe's and we'll see'.

 

I think the reason we are stuck with all of these meh answers stems from the 1994 Botcon when the Hasbro team showed up all the G2 stuff coming out and they wern't supposed to. The GoBot tractor Trailer and early shots of Sgt. Hound, General Optimus and the Jazz and Soundwave Laser Cycles were all shows way too early and though the years I've heard that was a major breach of hasbro policy.

 

But I guess we can take some small comfort that there's tons of fans out there for other properties that don't have this level of access to the manafacture of the lines and can't get answers to their questions at all.

I really don't understand their refusal to release more Encore reissues outside of Japan. It's almost as if they don't want to make more money. U.S. and Canadian (among other places I'm sure!) fans are RABID for G1, why don't they see this?

I fell off of Transformers when i turned 13 to 20 (around) whihc i believe was in 1996 (Machine Wars) so i missed the whole "G2" era. I know about the miscolored G1 copys and Lazer Prime plus att (at the time) when the Air Missle Prime and Megatron were out, i bougt those as my 1st transformers since i was a kid (along with MWars) BUT i dont know about these mentioned.

 

It seems they are not easy to find on the net (tfu.info & wiki has no pics from what i see PLUS googleimages shows a bunch of other crap) Can you tell me/show me more of what these are? Especially Lazer Soundwave and General Prime? Thanks if possible!

After doing some research, it looks as if "General Optimus" was similar to the "Pyro" European mold. Is this true? and are there any links to any photos of this un released toy? (i assume its unreleased) also Lazer Jazz/Soudnwave?

It's a fan creation, but it does kinda look like Pyro, but the guy says he based it off the Classics Minicon Firebot.
