OK, maybe it's just the way you come across sometimes. for example in another thread I named some fiures in their amercian terms, rather than japanese, and you felt the need to correct me there.

Could be that I'm just a little touchy, :shrug I don't know. Either way. I don't think you "trash talk" as such. Anyway I hope I didn't offend you in any way. That's not my intention. But at the same time, don't rush in to correct people so often. it's ok from time to time, but when you see it in every thread almost, it gets a bit old

Ah yes, i did do thAt. You were just as correct with their names, i was just picking on you as a friend. I will be more aware, and i get ya. No worries man. Im glad you dont see me as a trash talker anyway, i kinda hate that in members most of the time.

I'm having trouble loading the link, any mention as to when we can expect this new series? And what kind of style it will be done in

Hopefully serious and the exact opposite of Animated, with the details of the Classics/Universe line.

Amen. I cant say much about the Animated show, I didnt like it but I didnt really have anything against it. But the toys were awful, I want them to return to the universe/classic style of toys. The Animated ones were just...weird.

But even for being "weird", they did a good job pulling off the acuracy of the fluid designs in plastic form. The engineering was outstanding!, imo. And i would like them to make a mix of Animated and Classics style. More of the ANimated transformations, with G1 origin looks cartoonized, but more like Justice League Unlimited, not Tick.

I'm sick to death of hearing about the acuracy in animated. It was all simple undetailed design, whats so dam hard to pull off!?!

Everyone talks like Animated was the first show to strive for acuracy. In reality, with an exception or 2 hear and there (even Animated wasn't on the ball with everyone) since Beast Wars Season 2, most show characters were acurate, with better detailing, better abilities, and far superior QC.

Animated was stylized in a unique fashion, and thats fine. However outside of being made so cheap that they'd pull themselves apart, they did nothing ground breaking or exciting. Just simple shapes with left over parts.

Our good friends over at Moonbase 2 Podcast have revealed some secret tidbits in an their recent interview Michael Bell. The voice actor has revealed the next Transformers cartoon is presently being cast by Susan Blue who handled the casting for Transformers Animated and was the voice of Arcee in G1. Bell says he has auditioned for the role of Ratchet and a character that goes by the name "General Fowler." Bell also stated that David Sobolov who played the voice of "Depth Charge" is another actor up for audition. Check out the full interview now at Moonbase 2. Read the Full News Story Here

Possible whoops somewhere?

According to Topless Robot (SFW) http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/12/new_gi_joe_and_transformers_cartoons_coming_possib.php Bell interviewed for "General Hawk" on G.I. Joe in addition to Ratchet for Transformers.

I read in another site that if you listen to the podcast (which i plan to do later) he mentions the words "they have to get someone else to play ratchet for the new Animated Transformers show" ..now this could just mean animated transformers, or it could mean the new update for Transformers animated. I guess he said that the orignal actor couldnt play ratchet anymore, so im HOPING this doesnt mean a continuation of ANimated. BUT i wouldnt hate it, OBVIOUSLY it would have to be like the Energon for Armada, and not be called such TF:A, but none the less i DO remember Habro answering a question about the upcoming show at BotCon saying "it will be of Transformers Animated quality" which could mean, ppl like Jhon and Liege, will be displeased.

Im hoping for a reboot of Gen One myself, but like JLU style (NOT Teen Titans)

The acuracy was a step up then from Energon and Armada. Even Cybertron. And by stylized engineering i mean, for example, Blurr's transformation with no kibble. Slim down sleak transformations that just work. NOW they COULD do this with a different style but keep those transformations. Thats what im hoping for. I got to agree though, alot of the :animated toys seemed cheap, ala Swoop, Blackarachnia, and Prowl to name a few. Where they would fall apart like you mentioned, and be as i call it, loosey goosey.

Eitherway, we dont know that wont be the next style for sure. I SURE HOPE we get something really cool that has all the good parts from ROTF, G1, and TF:A mixed into one.

But for some reason, i think it will have some Animated influence. Speculation of the mind of course

I'm actually hoping that the people that animated megas XLR will get to animate it this time round. If anyone has ever seen Megas, it's greatly animated. And a few episodes actually had very transformer-esque looking characters in it too. One ep even had starscream and Alpha Trion looking characters in it.

Plus, the animators DIG giant robots!

He's just meaning the new animated series, they clarify that with him.
