yeah but your getting your animated crap anyway, ROTF fans are just getting shafted.

No... You just have to accept the fact that you wont get every TF that shows up in the movie... Remember Animated fans didnt get Omega Supreme and he played a big role in the show... Anyways I rather they dedicate their time to more HA figures over a couple of "individual" Constructicons...

Hang on I gotta get my violin...

Your talking about one character(and I know girlscream and the constructicons) who have no other representation. Otherwise they're completeing the line. TBH, you have the right to be upset about that. I would have liked an Omega myself, and there doing the same thing with that just aweful Blackout figure...

Alot of other lines they didn't reopen though, even with the prep work done. Why are they doing it, fan angst. I wouldn't say sales especialy when I can still walk into any store in my area and get just about any figure. You cant say because of kids cause they're snubbing the figures for the new movie guys...

In this case they're doing the legends, parts of a worthless supreme, and then thats it!?!

No there's no point in NOT trying.

But lets look at the main point of the angst. IF the movie line was done now, OK we missed out, sucks to be us. However the movie line isn't over.

2010 isn't going to start with new Universe filler molds, and those SDCC bots aren't part of a new show. They ARE the continued movie line, and that is the issue. If we're getting more repaints and filler figures why couldn't they take the initiative and complete this team as part of that instead of just passing them over?

Thats the issue. To make it relatable for your series, wouldn't you prefer an Omega Supreme over some stupid bubble bumblebee thing!?!

^ Guys, guys...can't we all just... :) Personally, I'm a fan of both. The only reason I didn't consider a petition with TF:A was because I'd be asking for half of the Season 3 line! Plus, they canned the series! My only hope with that is that the Discovery venture will correlate somehow with Animated...and then maybe we'll get those 'fully realized' Animated Constructicons that Hasbro stated in a past Q&A session. :thumb

Cancelling Animated...yet another bad decision by Hasbro and Cartoon Network!

Petitions rarely work.

Look, we're 18% or so of their market. They won't lose most of us just because of this and they all ready know we want those figures.

Even if petitions did work, most kids won't know, care about or sign this.

Sign it anyway...it'll make you feel good! :D

Q: After a 25 year long toy and animated series run and with the current popularity of the comic books and live action movies, do you think that the seemingly obvious morals of good versus evil, compassion, respect, and understanding that Optimus Prime (and thus Hasbro) established starting in Generation 1 have changed due to the popularity and demand of an increase in sexual related content, violence and vulgar language such as that displayed in the current movie?

[This answer was left unanswered by the Hasbro Q&A Respondees. However, Aaron Archer said during the SDCC 2009 panel that because it is a blockbuster film, the character have a bit more leeway in terms of vulgarity and violence. -ed.]

Ok, granted - Bottom line is Bay was just pushing the toilet humor to see how far he could get with it and hopefully, if he and the writers and their entourage read the reactions like they say they do, they'll know in the next movie to dial it back.

That being said, it still doesn't wash Hasbro's hands of the whole mess as they should have had a lot more oversight into the content of the movie beyond the trademark. Hopefully they've learned their lesson there too but somehow I doubt it.

If not, they always have Aaron to be the spin doctor. Poor guy. Its gotta suck to be the yes man....makes him look like the dumbest guy on the planet sometimes. But hey, some folks will do it if it keeps them employed. He's a better man than me I guess cause I could never do it.
