There has been a bit of a dry spell with the toy releases but you are missing reviews for starscream, ironhide, and ratchet from the first wave.I think you should do those if you can find them.

One thing you have to understand is that I purchase these figures from my own personal finances 95% of the time. I try to accomodate as much as I can but occasionally I can't justify spending money. To me, the 3 figures you mentioned do not have enough significant revisions from their 2007 counterparts to purchase again. That is why they are missing.

I would have thought the entirely new Starscream would have been worth a new purchase though Blitz. I actually picked up the new Starscream and i have to say I think that aside from them not adding some extra arm articulation it's a pretty good upgrade from the last film version...except for the tattoos XD But I took them off anyway so it's all god. XD

Well the plane mode is definitely nicer (although after seeing it the store that looks like a toy as well- just a nice toy vs the mess that was the first). I have to say though I'm a much bigger fan of deep space starscream in bot mode than the new one though (I know he's not quite as screen accurate- but in my opinion neither is a home run).

I think there are quite a few of us who do like the old version and were leaning toward holding off even before the news of leader starscream broke. After that, there's no way I'm going to pick this version up.

I saw this at Walmart the other day. The paint looked a bit dull, but there was only one so I couldn't compare.

Anyway, I think I'll get it just to match up my scout rankings. I've got three Decepticons facing off against Knockout, and he's having trouble keeping them in line even with his mad skills.

*ahem*

really glad to see a review of this guy so soon already...might have to actually be a slight completionist for all these scouts now

however, I gotta dock some points on blitz-wing for this thread :tfevil

most scouts so far for ROTF do actually have weapons: ransack has his machine gun and cutesy little bombs; knockout and reverb have their exhaust cannons; depth charge has missile launchers on his shoulders; and it can be said that dirt boss has some melee weapons with the forks. This leaves scalpel, ejector and rollbar with nothing and dead end and nightbeat with their claw hands.

second loss: not buying starscream for thinking his jet mode is not drool worthy and not much different than his '07 counterpart. honestly, I don't care if we see a review or not since I already have him, but you should at least consider getting him just for yourself, especially considering how many times we've seen sale prices already.

lets keep these reviews a comin

I have both 2007 molds... I personally just didn't see a point of having a third one :shrug

The new Voyager Starscream does look pretty neat (although I still don't plan to buy him since, despite the improvements in engineering, he still transforms into movie Starscream, one of the ugliest robots ever conceived) but with the Leader-class version on its way it might be best to hold off for a bit, as it looks like it's going to outdo the Voyager version in pretty much every way (well, it's still ugly, but there's not much Hasbro could do about that.)

starscream is the only one that is different. i never got ironhide from the first movie so i dont know if he is different but ratchet is exactly the same, so i guess all im asking for is a review of starscream.

i have to disagree with you because i think movie starscream looks pretty cool... of course i hated G1 so thats maybe why my liking is for the movie version.
