I'm starting to think I got a faulty figure

Wow, that figure looks really hawt when properly transformed & the arms no longer look ridiculously stubby.

 

I'd have to say I like the alt. mode as well, despite being non-functional (still trying to get my G1 Soundwave to play my mixtapes) it just gives off the vipe of what it's supposed to be.

So wouldn't it be the responsible thing to replace the original images of the figure with the correctly transformed ones that have been provided here? Can some of you guys provide the complete set?

 

Sorry, it's not like Hasbro is hurting, especially with their cuts from the a$$raping IMAX ticket prices... but I'd be pissed if someone in the position of editorial review in a significant fan site misrepresented my product so badly.

I tried for an hour to get the figure right. It's just a horrid figure to do right IMO

Yeah. I had mine mistransformed for a few days until I saw peaugh's review. The instructions were pretty worthless.

 

Ultimately, I love the figure. I wish you mentioned the fact his glasses/goggles are removable. I think it's kind of a big deal, as he's the only Scout figure to have anything even slightly resembling an accessory since Booster X10.

Now that we've finally got the transformation down...I know scale is not the most important thing to Hasbro, but I think Scalpel would have been better Legend sized, in comparison to the other ROTF figures. :shrug

They call him "the Doctor" in the movie. I think that name fits him better. And yeah, this is one of the the FEW basics i will be getting. I also like the look of the red bull Prime/Magnus guy. Hes even got Primes windows and chest.

 

Looking forward to Mudflap and Skids reviews.
