gonna hav 2 pass on this 1. would much rather they jus make the eps n special features available in a hi-qual downloadable file rather than still focusing on dvd that takes up space n costs more money 2 produce n purchase. either a fixed price per dl'd ep or a name-your-own-price model. anything but a physical dvd.

I drooled with envy at the Austrailian G! boxset that came out a couple years back but passed as those DVDs are region specific. And the Chinese tin boxset looks cool (and is a great value) but I didn't want to deal with Chinese language menus. ShoutFactory! does amazing work on CDs I own by them and the full season boxset looks just amazing. Its a great value for guys like me who don't own any G1 episodes on DVD. My kids and I have only been fans for the past few years (enjoying Beast Wars and then the new Animated series and older Cybertron series). And the price shakes out to like $9 a disc which isn't bad at all. Generally new DVDs can run between $10-$15 per single disc when they first come out. So yeah, if you've got some or all of the Rhino DVDs then tread lightly, otherwise newbies like me and hardcore fans with some cash are in for a real treat later this summer!!!

Ditto. I've got a couple of Rhino VHSs and the DVD that came with 25th Aniversary Prime, so this is right up my alley!
