They damn sure like to flip flop. It was stated in one of the Q&A's before this one, that there would be a Premium line. Now they're saying there's none planned?

Which is it??

Wait, we only got those three questions answered?

Is there any way I can put my question (Transformers RPG/TCG) into the queue permanently until it gets asked? Or is there some other way I can ask Hasbro about this?

Wow, I'm amazing.

By simply paying attention and logical reasoning, I managed to answer all of these question long before they were posted to Hasbro:

1) they're not going to give away which figures they will release in Animated (or any other line) because that would spoil the surprise.

2) they will not admit to using kitbash ideas because of the possibility of the kitbasher making a claim that Hasbro used their idea for a repaint (and financial compensation etc...).

3) Sure, they're going to tell that we better not buy the current movie figures because of superior premium version that will be released later.

Can't remember who originally said it, but:

Ask a stupid question, and all you get is a stupid answer !!!

(and another possibilty to get some useful information from Hasbro wasted.)

I don't want any more Premium Format toys. Premium Format was, to me, a big :hawhaw by Hasbro to collectors who bought all of the toys when they were first released.

Exactly, but we're still......... getting......... better figures? - =_= - See, that's my point. People who want accurate figures, still have to wait. Why can't they just release the accurate ones first? I mean, come on, they're for the same freakin' line!

I think you misunderstood Hasbro. They did not say they were going to instead make better figures after instead of paint, JUST they would make better figures from the start with MORE MOLDS instead of repaints. Or so they say. :roll

still wish we could've gotten an actual answer on the mismatched pastics, rather than an ambiguous, open-ended response about the premiums. :tfmad

they've partially answered that in the toyline, look at figures like sideswipe and sideways, the whole vehicle is painted over instead of being molded silver in some areas and painted silver in others, so they're adressing the problem, yet they still haven't told us why it happened in the first place :shrug

I wasn't talking about painted plastic and molded plastic. I meant truly mismatched plastics, like on universe cyclonus's thighs. Two different shades of gray were used when it should have been one.

I'd like to know if Hasbro, at all, feels guilty about it's embellished product images on the toy packaging. Yeah, "product and colors may vary," but it's still pretty bad. For example, I was looking at the ROTF Breakaway toy, and the package's photo looks so different from the actual toy. I would have bought that jet if it looked half as good as it did on the back of the card.

We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story

    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
