But see, you 'cheated' like I did. You had to use one of the swords to counterbalance :P

ok, here's one where he's just stood on his feet

His legs are poseable, you just have to be patient and find the balance

Hmm...of all the movie toys, I'll def. get some version of Sideswipe, he's just so cool. But as to which version I get, I have no idea.

While I really like the bigger scale of Alternators and will probably love HA Sideswipe, the Deluxe scale is really growing on me, being cheaper and taking up less shelf space.

No doubt I'll just get both.......

I haven't tried any over the top action poses, but I will say this- I was very surprised just how stable mine is (I've had it for a while).

Try rotating the feet so that the heel takes the weight instead of the toe. The heels are quite stable, and ?I think? are actually the official transformation instead of the toe anyhow.

Can we have a pic of this? I think I can see what you are talking about but I'd love to see it in brilliant RGB!

If the HA Sideswipe can stand up on his lonesome then I'll wait until August and get that version.

Deluxe Sideswipe stands fine- Blitzwing has his feet transformed backwards. They're much more stable the other way.

So I saw deluxe Sideswipe at Target 2 days ago and I decided to pick him up. Harrismonkey is right; he stands up fine without rotating his feet backwards. The trick is to make sure his heals are touching the ground. In order to make it look like he's standing on his tires, the front part of his feet aren't meant to touch the ground. Make sure his heals touch the ground and he stays standing all day long.

I got mine and yeah standing him up is a little fiddly but you get it eventually. I have to say is sort of growing on me. When I first opened him and transformed him I thought "I should have waited for HA version, this seems a little weak. Given that I think this will be my last deluxe and I'm going to wait on HA versions. I like the car so that's cool but what I'm not too thrilled with is how fragile he is which makes me thing that the quality could be much better. The design is great but the actual figure feels nothing solid like the first movie toys...Concept Bee still rules!
