ROTF Constructicon Figure review on Youtube...

Yeah, the more I see of this guy, I can't help asking...why didn't they just put some freakin' legs on him?!? Alt mode looks great, but that robot mode is questionable...I'll buy him to complete Devastator though. I was also thinking about the 'more colorful' issue earlier today, and...is it just me or do the movie-to-toy translations seem to be getting a little lost in places (the colors, the details, etc.)? I'm definitely gonna give it a chance, but what I've seen so far seems to be some hybrid of the first movie aesthetic combined with something like late Energon & some Cybertron characteristics...does that make sense?

As far as an arm of Devastator, I disagree, rumor is there are 7 to 9 of these that make up Devs, so I think his logic is too quick and simple, a shoulder maybe, but not an entire arm for a 2 foot tall figure. plus there'd be no articulation for it.

Same thoughts

$20-$22 a pop there is no way I'd put down cash for one of these. A complete Devistator will go down in history as the most expensive transformer toy on store shelves. Brings back memories of when I was a kid and wanted one of those Bandi combiner sets like Voltron. They were about a $100. I hope they sell Devistator as a complete set....I'd love the see the packaging on this.

I think you mistransformed the figure. The cycle mode is just another alt mode.

Look at the figure in the teaser trailer at the beginning. It stands upright, hitting the helicopter with one wheel arm. So I guess the shovel parts will serve as his legs in robot form and the separate wheel arms are his normal arms.

Maybe that design isn't so bad after all...

Guest Primal-Convoy

1/ The vehicle mode cannot move (no wheels)

2/ The bot mode cannot stand up unaided

3/ FAIL

I'm sure there is a much more superior fan mode for this utter turd of a toy, even though Haz-blow is offering a mediocre toyin the hope we will "buy it anyway to form a limb". Quantity over quality is what makes a Powerrangers Megazord, NOT a TF.

Just wait for the inevitable "G1" recolour next year or so.

And you bought THREE of these things?
