I might be excited by this if the Bruticus mold hadn't been used a dozen times already.I have Valdigus & 2 Ruinations, all of which are better colored than Bruticus. Not even slightly interesting. Now if Takara reissued Menasor or Monstructor/Dinoking . . .

right on right on!! This is great, Ive got Devastator & Menasor already but no Bruticus. Excellent. Now they need to do Superion and Defensor. man these Encores they decide to release sure are arbitrary?! What factors are used in deciding the next Encore? They seem to be just random characters...

I have to agree, the price is atrocious (especially considering for about $25-40.00 more you can have the original...) but this is a sign of good things to come.

 

We were told several times (not sure it was through official channels though) that due to the bootlegs from China flooding the market, we wouldn't see a reissue of the combiners.

 

Well, now we are, and if this sells, they might just reissue more.

 

Although...I'd not be surprised if this was the only combiner reissue we were to receive. Which, oddly enough, would still piss me off, even though it's an expected outcome.

This is great news for those who missed the several reissues of this team. But I'm perfectly happy with the RiD bots I picked up, and will be passing on this.

Overall, I can't really say that I'm utterly excited or I'm just okay by this news. I'm just happy that finally they reissue him in his G1 colors. And yes, I will definitely be getting this despite the price is a little bit pricey. Also, I don't have this mold or even the RID version. I guess, I'm just a G1 Line sucker.

With that steep price, TTomy better releases the diecast version not the cheapy plastic grey version. And so far, they haven't failed us.

I've checked a few other online stores and it looks like BBTS is the only one to have it for pre-order. It's not unusual for them jump the gun on stuff like this. Even a foreign vendor like RobotKingdom doesn't have it for pre-order. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruticus is sold a lower price elsewhere.
