+ Convertible Cadillac XLR was gonna be Megatron for Alternators but never came out.

I AM NOT SURPRISED.

+ Storm Cloud is a redeco Powerglide. MM-89 on him stands for Micro Master 89, the year he is made.

+ Both Powerglide and and Storm Cloud will have it so you can open his chest and see a heart. It is really for Powerglide, Storm Cloud has it cause it was molded in.

:rofl Awesome homage!

+ 25th Anniversary Hot Shot. He now has a rear window! This is how they will celebrate mini-cons cause he comes with one.

LAMELAMELAMELAMELAMELAMELAME

Getting a hot shot instead of... any other iconic G1 character for a 25th anniversary toy seems to be missing the whole point of the idea.

Edit:

This was added to the Hot Shot entry on the live report page:

They got Dave Willis (ShoertPacked) to stand up, he is a BIG Hot Shot fan.

:lol

And Hot Shot, of all characters... man, I'd sooner take... pretty much any other AEC character. Though to be fair, Hot Shot didn't get a good toy until Cybertron, so I guess it makes sense.

Of course, Hot Shot wasn't a good character... ever... so it really doesn't.

Sorry for the double post, but this has to be on its' own.

The hot shot entry was re-edited. This is what replaced the willis entry:

No Bazooka weapon for Hot Shot. (Ed Note: Yes, this is the surprise figure. @_@)

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING IT'S LIKE THEY DECIDED IT WAS OPPOSITE DAY OR SOMETHING

Edit: This is one of the dumbest things hasbro has ever done. Would somebody there please point that out?!

Well.. they're correct. I am SURPRISED by this. Not pleasantly surprised, mind you, but it was a surprise in the sense i'd never have seen it coming. :tdown

You know, I just thought of a few possible reasons for this:

1. AEC was rather successful for them. It might be paying tribute to all those who liked them.

2. Optimus might represent the old, while HS represents the new.

3. They love Minicons too fucking much.

Any way, Hot Shot was not a good choice. A-HS suck E-HS sucks. I never had either C-HS, but I imagine they probably suck too. A different character should have been chosen to represent the new/Minicons/AEC. HS, if anything, is the perfect example of what was wrong with each series.

cybertron HS was kinda cool toy wise

I'm guessing for the 25th thier doing a toy for every big event in transformer history I'm guessing Hotshot (who kids seem to like f**k knows why) is for armada
