I know it's an e-hobby set, but DAMN! WTF? Maybe the Japanese version will cost less?

The word is that the Japanese version, in yen, is less than $20 less than FunPub's price. Since that yen price is only for folks buying direct from e-Hobby, and e-Hobby doesn't ship outside of Japan, this means that those of us who would seek to get the set from a non-FunPub source would have to pay mark-up beyond that yen price.

It is doubtful the usual sites that provide us with e-Hobby toys will be able to undercut FunPub's price. Even allowing for shipping....

Depends on where you buy it from, it can still be cheaper then the tfcc.

I was going to buy it but the Sound blaster mold looks wrong being all white

You're welcome to try, but I'm actually betting against finding a place cheaper than TFCC on this one. For the reasons already stated.

eHobby price - 13,900JPY or about $178

TFCC price - $195

Only a $17 difference. The aftermarket markup from stores ordering from eHobby will be greater than for those ordering from TFCC since they'll have to ship in bulk from Japan plus make a profit. Unlike other TFCC exclusives you don't need a membership to get the lowest price, it's smart to just buy directly.
