Wow things are much more exspensive than previous Hasbro SDCC 2012 years.

I was expecting SDCC foc gift set Bruticus to cost around $80. the current price of $100 seems a bit high. which makes each deluxe figure cost $20 each times 5 equals $100.

I'll probably buy one or Two SDCC foc bruticus gift sets from the Hasbro site when their up for sale.

I'm hoping the extremly high prices for these Hasbro SDCC exclusives keep buyers away & it'll be easier for me to buy the stuff from the hasbro site. without fears of stuff selling out HTS sdcc ordering site day.

Well I was going to buy 3 Bruticus's but now not so sure.

Sorry Sparkless I was not expecting the price to be that high, and if I can't get one for you I wont buy any for me either, until later on, on eBay.

That Jar Jar in carbonite is stupid. Does the Star Wars fandom now have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for something they haven't seen before? And who both hates Jar Jar enough, but still rabidly collects Star Wars, to spend that kind of money on such a thing?

Considering the price of Deluxe toys now, that's only about $8 more per Transformer. I suppose it could be worse. I think, if anyone wants these and has bought other stuff like TFCC toys, Takara-Tomy stuff, or 3rd party Transformers, they can't complain about $100 for SDCC Bruticus.

The price for SDCC Jinx seems correct. The collector oriented toys were already up to $10 at retail anyway.

That Derpy Hooves Pony seems wrong. I've got this feeling that "derpy" has subtly replaced the term "retard".

That cost more than MP Rodimus Prime. I guess it could be worse. The price per toy is still cheaper than, say, the Deluxe class toys that are sold by the TFCC or an imported Takara-Tomy toy.

So, $60 for a Cobra HISS Tank and $100 for FOC Bruticus? What a ripoff.

Seriously, not that I was even planning on buying this, but even If I were, there would be no way in hell I'd pay $20 each for a deluxe figure, especially when you consider deluxe figures are getting smaller and smaller than they were before. Also, lol at posts above me trying to convince themselves that "it's not that bad." Sorry, but this sort of logic is one of the reasons Hasbro continues to raise prices on their toys and these convention "exclusives."

If I see them at Marshalls or Ross marked down a year from now, perhaps I'll bite, but for me, it's not that important to own just for the G1 colors and the box.....

Good price on Bruticus. $20 a figure is only $5 or so more than the FoC deluxe MSRP which is a good deal for a convention exclusive (around $75 to complete the retail version). It'll probably sell out before I can get one, but I'm going to give it a shot!

Don't know if it will really prevent people from buying them this year...I think it will slow down people buying multiple ones though as it will add up quick! I just hope they are not reducing the articulation on the 2 joe figures that come with the HISS tank given the extra accessories Mini Soundwave and tapes.

The Constructicon B.A.T. and Destro appear to come from existing molds from the 25th/POC line of figures. They should have all of the articulation that fans have come to expect from the modern Joe figures.
