Wow this thing looks interesting & very creative in both modes. theirs no doubt kids will have tons of play value fun with this toy.

This is the first time,I've seen the alt mode. it reminds me a bit of 1986 metroplex's rolling air craft carrier alt mode.

the design of the robot mode screams Beastmachines/RID Primal Prime & a bit of 1986 Ultra magnus.

I like how the hollow feet are a slight homage to 1987 fortress maximus's hollow feet.

either way,it just seems like the designers did their home work, reserach previous TF toys designs. then tried their hardest to combine a bunch of TF designs into one sigular toy.

While,I love all the creativity & hard work that went into this toy. I think I'm way too old for something like this. So this is a easy pass/no buy for me.

I think it looks pretty awesome. I cant wait to see some pics in the Action Pose Thread of how it looks with a bunch of different commanders and cyberverse stuff.

Reminds me too much of Energon's Fatimus Prime. only with holes everywhere, so I this thing should be cheap as hell. And will definitely not come anywhere near my collection.

Optimus Maximus? More like Optimus Failure

I know this was described as a Cyberverse base, but I was hoping it would be a little more Transformer and little less playset. The old G1 city bots had great alt modes and articulation, but Optimus Maximus here is barely articulated, just elbows and hips. Not too crazy about the framework look either, I like my bots to be solid, who makes a base that's full of holes?

I'll get one if I can get it on clearance or with a good discount, but not full price.

I like him. The base mode isn't as complex as I'd have liked, but I still like the style. Optimus Maximus has been said to be larger than the Leader class figures and the price is supposed to be $35. I'm sure there'll be sales since this is coming out later in the year so it should be easy to score this for less than $30. I think that's decent all around.
