Fans, rejoice! The Transformers The Japanese Collection has been (re)set for a release date of January 10, 2012! The online store for Shout! Factory has re-listed the gargantual 13-DVD set with the Headmasters, Super-God Masterforce, and Victory series for $89.99 plus shipping and handling that includes a bonus lithograph of Headmaster leader Fortress Maximus. I hope they're going to release Masterforce and Victory as individual sets! I checked the site and didn't see listings. I already own the Headmasters set, and I can't afford $90 for all three series right now, not while I have Christmas presents to buy!

Eh, I think I'll pass. Headmasters was ok. Masterforce I really don't have too much intrest in, and Victory I've never seen.. so yeah, I'll pass.... :/

I want these - IMO the Japanese series are the best of G1, especially Masterforce. But Shout Factory would get my money a lot sooner if they offered the series individually.

Ive never seen any of these shows though Ive always wanted to. As much as I do, thats a steep price for me. Hopefully Ill be able to get it a cheaper price later.

Same here...seen some of Headmasters, but not Masterforce or Victory...but I've waited this long, so I can wait a little longer for a lower price.

I'm hoping for individual sets. I already have these shows on VCDs with the RTM1 dubs, but it would be nice to have them on a disk that would work on any player, not just certain players.
